Jimmie Kaska

Hold on.

Hold on once.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

Give me one second

here.

You're totally fine.

No, I had just one second.

It is rolling right now, just so you know.

I'm sorry about this.

No, you're totally fine.

I'm actually pulling up stats right now as well.

Just give me one second.

I'm

Jimmie Kaska

I had a screen open that had

That had all this there.

We're going now.

I got it.

Sorry I had to get all the the game recap in front of me All right, I'm ready to start when you are yep, go ahead All right, here we go in three two one We've talked about this brewers team being relentless and game two in the world series was just another case of Relentlessness by the hold on sorry

I gotta do, my video is lagging really bad.

One

Parker Olsen

second.

Yeah, I noticed that last, when I put together the thing on Friday and I forgot to say something about it again.

Jimmie Kaska

Check, check.

That's way better.

Yes, that's okay.

Okay, we'll do it

like this.

Jimmie Kaska

Here we go.

In three, two.

We've described this brewer's team as relentless and game two is exactly that Parker another Relentless performance for a team that was down for nothing in the first inning you're thinking Oh, no, they're at their their their rays are coming back They saved all this juice for this game that they were gonna come in in game two and steal home field And then what are the Brewers do?

They add on two in the first they add in the home run later They get the go ahead run late and once again in this postseason they rally from behind

and win a World Series game this time.

Incredible.

Parker Olsen

They have been phenomenal.

It is, I've gotten to the point now where the mantra has been that they believe in themselves and as fans it's really like you believe but it's really hard to feel comfortable when you're back 4-0 and that quick like snap your fingers and all of a sudden you're looking from behind and all of a sudden

They start chipping away right away, right?

And then they keep on chipping away later on.

It's, I'm almost comfortable being behind now.

And I know that this team is Jimmy.

They just, they've got that juice that lets them fight.

Jimmie Kaska

I gotta say, I mean, this is as incredible a feeling as a sports fan can have.

I mean,

I mean, it's the world series there are two games and none and you look in this game and people are gonna talk about They're gonna talk about the South or the Comron.

No doubt they're gonna talk about that They're gonna talk about Ash be slamming the door for a save at the end of this one, right?

I want to point to a guy who's gonna go a little unsung and all this and that's William Contreras because not only did he have two hits But he blocked those pitches with runners and scoring position to preserve this It's all these little things in this game that added up Cooper Pratt bouncing back

from that first inning error to come back and have a big hit late.

These are all these little things, these little positive outcomes that just add up to success and the players get it done again with contributions, not from one or two guys, but from virtually everybody who stepped on the field in this game.

Parker Olsen

Yeah, I think in the seventh or eighth inning the broadcaster for saying everybody that is in the lineup for the Brewers either has a hit or has been on base I don't remember if it was hits or on base, but yeah, everyone was contributing and you're right.

Yeah, I mean contrarious behind the plate Especially on that last ending there when you've got a runner on third and he's he's a tying run.

I'm even thinking of myself

Make sure that you're paying attention and they don't try to steal home, right?

Both of these teams are so aggressive.

That's been one of the big things we've talked about is these teams are really aggressive.

They're really similar to one another.

I saw it once or twice.

look to third kind of pump fake just a touch to make sure that he's not coming home and then put it back to the mound.

I mean, there's so much so much heads up on this team at every position.

On the other night we saw Garrett Mitchell with a hard time in center field on that line drive that I think ended up leading the runs, but.

Everyone has made up their mistakes, right?

I mean, Cooper Pratt, he had an error that was costly in that first inning.

He made up with his, that later with his bat.

And that's just what they've been doing, Jimmy.

It's been absolutely incredible to see how quickly these guys can make up for any little error that there may have been.

Jimmie Kaska

I'm just really impressed with the fact, the resilience they've seen to come back from all this, but you mentioned now, every player in this lineup contributed somehow.

Every pitcher had big, tough innings, big jams to work out of.

There were so many moments in this game that could have turned, and I look at like what the Rays were doing, and you know, a couple of defensive miscues, just misplaying a ball or sending a guy to home on a pretty easy play for the Brewers to make the throw-out at home.

you know these teams are really leaving it all out there and all these little things get just incredibly magnified whether it's blocking the the pitches in the dirt whether it's just the ball going off a glove the wrong way all these little things are just amplified to incredible levels because it is the world series

Parker Olsen

it is and yeah you're right it does feel like there's a pebble in the wrong spot and a bounce goes the wrong way that could ruin somebody's night and

I don't know.

We haven't had that yet, but it certainly feels like everything's going the brewer's way.

I mean, it's a weird feeling.

Jimmie Kaska

Yeah.

Well, and, you know, now, you know, we could turn our attention a bit to, you know, what's, what's coming up in this series because, you know, the game coming up on Tuesday, it's going to be, sorry, the game coming up on Monday, you know,

Game three of the World Series now coming up and this is where we turn our attention to it's Robert Gasser You know going for the Brewers against old friend Freddy Peralta in this game in Tampa This is this is where I think the series if the you know the Brewers can get this done in Tampa I mean what a what a statement and what a season because right now all they you know I don't say all they've done but they have held the home field advantage with two one-run victories now they have to go do it on the road and You know getting it done on the road.

I mean

You set yourself up pretty well if you can take one of these games in Tampa, at least one, if not two, and just take the thing and win it there.

Parker Olsen

Yeah.

Jimmie Kaska

I've

Parker Olsen

been, I'm not saying I'm hoping that the Brewers only win one in Tampa.

However, I think it'd be really cool if the Brewers only won one in Tampa.

They went home for a game six and they clutched it up right there.

I, because that's the thing, the Brewers haven't clinched a series yet at home.

this postseason.

They've all been on the road, which feels awesome because of the fact that the Brewers have been so bad on the road in the postseason for a number of years now.

But yeah, I mean, they could do it at home in front of these fans that absolutely were unglued after that South Freelike home run.

They deserve it.

And I really, really hope it happens, Jimmy.

And yeah, I think we're good.

Jimmie Kaska

There you go.

That's five minutes.

Parker Olsen

Yeah.

You

Jimmie Kaska

got something to work with out of that, hopefully.
