There's there's a few of us there.

on the 97.9 WGBW newsroom.

I'm Stuart J. Wattles with this local news update.

Some good news if you're hitting the highways for the holidays.

Civic media's Lisa Hale tells us about a present at the pump.

Gas prices continue to drop in Wisconsin and nationwide.

The national average fell 5.7 cents in the last week to 279 a gallon.

Wisconsin's average is 245 a gallon.

Patrick Dahan with Gas Buddy says conditions are ripe for the lowest seasonal gas prices in five years.

In Green Bay, a gallon of gas will cost you $2.48.

You'll pay $2.52 for a gallon of gas in Appleton and Oshkosh.

The forecast looks pretty good for your holiday travels overall, but keep an eye out for some slick spots if you're heading out for a Christmas Eve service or gathering tonight.

The melting snow can freeze quickly, making roads icy when you don't expect it.

There's also a chance of some freezing drizzle in the forecast tonight, which could have an impact on travel.

Our white Christmas may be the price we pay for these warmer than normal temperatures.

The snow we did get is melting fast and it looks like we'll get another blast of cold before we see any significant snow.

Local forecasters say temperatures will drop about 20 degrees overnight Sunday into Monday morning.

We'll get a look at the latest coming up in the forecast.

Christmas in Sweden.

The holiday is celebrated from the Feast of St.

Lucie on December 13th to the Feast of St.

Knut on January 13th.

A traditional Swedish Christmas tree may be decorated with candles and apples and candy to add a festive and tasty tradition to the holiday.

The traditional holiday meal usually takes place on Christmas Eve and is a smorgasbord of Swedish favorites, including herring with sour cream and chives.

Other favorites include baked beans, also shrimp and mushroom omelets.

Interestingly, one major tradition for the Swedes is watching an American television show by Walt Disney Productions.

up to half of all households in Sweden tune in to see a 1958 Christmas special titled from all of us to all of you translated into Swedish with the title Donald Duck and his friends wish you a merry Christmas it's aired in Sweden on Christmas Eve every year since 1960 and that's

Sleigh bells ring.

Are you listening in the land?

Snow is glistening.

A beautiful sight.

We're happy tonight.

Walking in the winter wonderland.

Gone away is the bluebird.

Here to stay is a new bird.

He sings a love song as we go along.

Walking in the winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman Then pretend that he is Parson Brown He'll say are you married?

We'll say no man But you can do the job when you're in town Later on we'll conspire As we dream by the fire To face unafraid the plans that we made Walking in the winter wonderland

Where the ground lies a mantle of white A heaven of diamonds shined down through the night Two hearts are thrilling In spite of the chilling weather Love knows no season Love knows no climb Romance can blossom

Any old time Here in the open We'll walk in and hope in Together Together Together Together Slave bells ring Are you listening in the rain?

Snow is glistening A beautiful sight We're happy tonight

Walking in the winter wonderland Gone away is the bluebird Here to stay is a new bird He's singing a love song as we go along Walking in the winter wonderland In the meadow we can build a snowman And pretend that he's a circus clown

We'll have lots of fun with Mr. Snowman Until the other kiddies knock him down When it snows ain't a thrillin' Though your nose gets a chillin' We'll frolic and play the Eskimo way Walkin' in the

winter wonderland Walkin' in the winter wonderland

And since we've no place to go Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow Well it doesn't show signs of stopping And I brought some corn for popping The lights are turned way down low Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow When we finally kiss, goodnight How I'll hate going out in the storm But if you really

Christmas Around the World, celebrating the season with stories from around the globe.

Here's WGVW's Dan Marcus.

Up to half of all households in Sweden, tune in to see a 1958 Christmas special, titled From All of Us to All of You.

Translated into Swedish with the title, Donald Duck and his friends wish you a merry Christmas.

It's aired in Sweden on Christmas Eve every year since 1960.

And that's

And if all of us die, you're mercy, mercy, mercy.

All things and what they use to be.

What about this whole crowd?

And how much more we use from mercy?

Can't you stay?
