We’ve always known our fresh water in Wisconsin is the envy of the country, especially in areas struggling to maintain drinking water supplies. But out-of-state interests are now trying to steal our fresh water for recreational use with little to no concern for the harm their wake boats can do to water quality, the shorelines, and the quieter uses of others. We’ll review a new court case that threatens to bankrupt our smaller communities because our Legislature remains as inactive on the issue as a dead fish.
