I was up there last week to do our show.
I do the show in the afternoon two to four and Pat invited me up to Lake Wistoda last week to do the show on Friday and we were overlooking the lake.
It was a beautiful day and at the end of the show.
He brought me a handmade brandy old-fashioned sweet.

Yeah, this will be Parker's been running the show since yesterday and he's been doing it with gusto and guile and and moxie.

on Saturdays, she's going to be talking, there's a brand new bill or a newer bill going through the state legislature right now on mammograms and trying to get some money for women to make that either less costly or free in some cases.
So we'll be discussing that.
And also Todd's medical report card that I talked about on my show.
But largely, the larger issue is men's health.
You know, we as guys don't,
often enough like to say well we gotta go to the doctor we try to be oh I'll get through it I'll be okay no no no you want to go to the doctor and and so a doctor literally be talking to us about that as well and all kinds of fun and games we got brewers tickets to give away today and

Look at a couple of the headlines here for this morning.
In particular one, this is according to the Milwaukee Journal of Sentinel, big story today in the state of Wisconsin, particularly for those who might have respiratory issues, that sort of thing.
Smoke and Canadian wildfires will produce unhealthy air quality in Wisconsin today, according to the Department of Natural Resources in a statement yesterday that said wildfire smoke will be pushing in ahead of a cold front.
Much of the state will potentially reach the Red Air Quality Index.
Is there like that?
Like on Star Trek, Red Alert, Red Alert.
I'm serious for some people, which is considered unhealthy for people.
So a Red Alert air quality today in Wisconsin for the entire state.
The state is expected to remain at level orange, which is unhealthy for sensitive groups on the southwestern portion of the state, mostly along the Mississippi River Valley will mostly stay at level yellow or a moderate level of poor.

know they're all these colors, by the way.
Autocontrol wildfires prompted a state of emergency in Manitoba, Canada, where thousands of residents were forced to evacuate their homes.
The DNR is asking Wisconsin residents who are part of sensitive groups like people with
pre-existing respiratory conditions like asthma should make outdoor activities shorter and less intense.
The National Weather Service is issuing an air quality alert for the entire state today and calls for highs today in the seventies with storms expected in the afternoon and evening over much of the state.
It's okay to be active outdoors, but take more breaks, the DNR says.
Watch for symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath.
I need that like a hole in the head.
Allergies right now.
I'm going through.
I'm on every every possible drug you can imagine right now for for allergy.

I've got fluticazone ibuprofen.

It is 61 degrees of the shores of Lake Gichigumi in superior Wisconsin this morning, going down to beautiful Amory 52 55 at WCF W the tap in Eau Claire over to Chad Holmes and W XCW.
Over in Wassoff, 55 degrees as well.
52 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
Looks like around 50 degrees right now in Wisconsin Rapids.
45, pardon me, 48 degrees in Richland Center this morning.
54 in La Crosse.
52 here in the capital city.
52 as well over in Oshkosh at WISS.
And down in Mr. Bach's territory, 54 degrees in Racine and Kenosha, 55.
just a little north in the great city of Milwaukee and 50 degrees at W. A. U. K. in a walkie show this morning.
Those are temperatures around.
It was a I'm not sure about you guys.
I'm Greg.
I'm not sure if we talked about this before.
I am one of these light sensitive people and it's gotten worse as I've gotten older.
Like if it's if it's light outside, I function better.
But when it's dark, dark, it's just it's all this morning when I got up.
I by
I got like three hours of sleep because I just couldn't get all this science crap and it was like it was a light it was getting light at like four o'clock this morning.

Yeah.
When I was driving here this morning, actually to put my sunglasses on because I'm driving towards I'm driving towards the east.
Sure.
And I was just like, oh, God, I'm like, oh, sunglasses at five.
five 20 in the morning.
All right.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
But honestly, I'm going to cherish those because I mean, not for me anymore, but that that thing of like when you wake up and it's dark for like two and a half more hours after you're awake, you're like, can you just be a little sunny out?
Please, please.
It's very refreshing to watch
the sunrise though.
It is.
I'm a big, a big sunrise person as well.
Brewers hope to have a better sunset tonight.
They're back in action after taking the day off yesterday, traveling to Philadelphia.
The Phillies got a win yesterday over the Braves, looking at scores, some major league baseball yesterday and last night, including the Phillies over the Braves, five to four.
It was the Blue Jays over the athletics and a shout out, 12-nothing.
Nationals took down the Mariners, nine to three.
The Braves over the, it was a double header.
I see now I see that it was a double because because
Parker said I think they got crushed and I said no I'm looking here.
It was a double header Oh, they're gonna be the Brewers gonna win tonight.
They're gonna be tired So the Phillies won the first game five to four and then and then it was the Braves over the Phillies nine to three in the second game of the double header and the Rays beat the Astros last night 13 to three the Brewers take on those Philadelphia Phillies tonight in Philadelphia
545 the first pitch tonight.
Well the pregame show before that and speaking of the Brewers For those watching on the stream.

Six 26 as we go throughout your morning be aware.
There is a an alert throughout the entire state today
for bad conditions for breathing because we have these big wildfires up in Canada that leads our national headlines this morning.
The Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan have declared state emergencies and not just because of the Trump tariffs.
It's due to a series of wildfires.
The blazes which began on Monday in Saskatchewan have rapidly expanded in size, prompting the evacuation of more than 18,000 people.
The intensifying fires are also beginning to send hazardous smoke towards
the US.
As of yesterday, just over 160 wildfires were burning across Canada, and about half were uncontrolled.
Collectively, they have burned more than, get this, 1.56 million acres, 40% above the 10-year average for this point in a year.
According to the National Resources of Canada, above average weather severity is forecast for almost all of Western Canada in June and July.
So that will affect all
Wisconsin today if you have asthma that sort of thing try to either stay inside or limit your time outside today.
Israel has expected accepted a new ceasefire proposal with Hamas from US Envoy Steve Whitcoff which includes the release of 10 living hostages and 18 deceased hostages as well as a 60-day truce.
Although Hamas said the latest framework does not respond to it, quote, respond to any of our people's demands, foremost amongst is stopping the war and famine, unquote, the militant group offered three counterpoints.
Tariffs, the federal appeals court yesterday paused the court of international trades ruling that President Donald Trump did not have the authority to impose sweeping tariffs using the emergency powers he declared earlier this year.
The ruling by the U.S.
Court of Appeals from the Federal Circuit, or from the Federal Circuit, rather, means Trump can continue to impose tariffs using emergency powers and adds the confusion and uncertainty about the future of his economic policies.
The case could potentially work its way up to the U.S.
Supreme Court.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem posted on X this week that undocumented migrant from Mexico had been arrested for allegedly sending a letter threatening to kill President Trump.
She also included a picture of the man in a copy of the letter.
However, investigators now believe the migrant was set up.
According to several sources, law enforcement believes Ramon Morales Reyes, 54, did not write the letter, which was sent to an immigration and Customs Enforcement Office and other agencies.
Instead, investigators suspect a person who is currently awaiting trial in a robbery and assault case in which Reyes was the victim.
Wow, things get more complicated by the day.

If a bow Ryan was

coach of Plattville and Dave Vander Mullen was the coach at Whitewater and you would fill up both field houses whenever they played each other.
There was respect there, but they also kind of didn't like each other, the two coaches.
And I was working for WSUP, the student radio station at the time, doing a color commentary for Pioneer Sports with my great former broadcast partner, Kevin O'Connor, now who works for UW Milwaukee.
And I asked Dave Van der Mullen a question in the post press conference, and he growled at me.
And he goes...
Yeah, really, I don't think I've ever talked to Augie, but that surprises me.
Yeah, I think he's mellowed out.
Yeah, as he's as he's gotten older.
But anyway, it also football for a while.

I interviewed Pounce the Panther, the mascot.

But he was, he was actually a great interview.
He was really a cool guy.

Really nuanced discussion about tariffs.
It was amazing.
favorite response to one of the questions was I asked him, I said, you know, have you ever, have you ever used your, your celebrity as pounds to say, you know, date someone?
And his response was, uh, you know, uh, I wouldn't call it dating.

I mean, it was honest response.
Cause you know they're like, I'm going to wear the paws.

In an apartment building, I used to have a coffee shop, and this guy, these college guys lived in the building, and they would come into the coffee shop.
And I was looking on social media because I found a lot of social media on Badger Sports and I saw him with like the cheer squad.
And I said, I said one day I said, I didn't know you're on the cheer team.
That's pretty cool.
And he goes, no, I'm not.
I said, oh, I saw this picture.
He goes, oh, well.
No,
you didn't.
He puts a hand up to his lips and like, shh.
And he goes, I'm bucky.
I said, get.
out because they're not supposed to tell anybody.
It's a huge, huge secret.
There's a lot of them too, aren't there?
Oh, yeah.
There's several Buckeys because like the ice, the Buckeys for ice hockey have to be able to skate and then football because they do, they do all those pushups for every, every, every point.
And like when they were scored, they don't do this anymore.

And I don't know what they're going to do with it now, but
I don't remember what our mascot was, but yeah, I'm a, I'm a UWM panther who just feels slightly more important than people who aren't badgers.
Cause badgers is, I, when I do comedy in Madison, I always say I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a graduate of UW Wisconsin and everyone goes nuts.
And I let a nice little pause have me go Milwaukee and I'll get booze.

Well, the Pacer play their worst offensive game on the postseason last night in the 111-94 loss to the Knicks, but despite missing a chance to close out the series, star guard Therese Halliburton emphasizes there was, quote, no need to panic, unquote, quote, we're a resilient group.
Halliburton said after the game, we always want to respond when things don't go well after a game like that.
We understand that the stakes are.
We're fine.
