All right, we wanted to spend a little time talking about mail-in voting and drop boxes.
You mean that super safe thing we've been doing for decades, Jane?
For a really long time, there are states that have been... Isn't Oregon one of the states that has been using mail-in voting for like ever?
Uh, I believe so.
I believe all are gone.
Also has a thing where if you turn 18, you're automatically registered to vote.
That
sounds like a good thing.
I'm going to look that
up right now.
Uh, but yes, uh, going back to what happened in Wausau, a special prosecutor who said drop boxes are illegal.
This from Anna Kleiber in the Milwaukee Journal sent.
Now has been appointed to the case where the Moss Wausau mayor took the ballot box and locked it away in his office.
Couldn't possibly be a contract conflict of interest there
that So we started to talk about this brief land Monday as well and as if you're if you're not aware Monday became a an experiment in chaos So we didn't really get into it because we were trying to do all these different things, but I mentioned this on the show on Monday when we were talking if there is If there is a question or a problem
with the safety of voting or the ensuring of a fair election, especially when it comes to the drop box.
There are processes that a person, a mayor probably would have to go through.
And I'm just using my own experience of working in city government.
If there's a real question you talk, the first thing you do is you talk to your city attorney and you talk to your city clerk.
City clerk is in charge of the voting process.
The city attorney is going to be able to answer probably any questions you have.
If, if that passes through, then the next question is, what do we do next?
You probably have to, uh, you probably have to consult with more attorneys because the moment you move that drop box, you are creating, especially he didn't move it inside.
He moved it into, as you said, his office and he
locked
it, which means you are taking away the ability for people to vote, which creates disenfranchisement.
It creates intimidation.
So.
I am not a lawyer, but I worked with enough of them and I am lawyer adjacent that what he did just in the process alone Seems very at at at at best highly unethical.
Yes, but at worst possibly very illegal because as I mentioned as well on Monday If he was to do this you're then if he's just gonna do this the first thing you're gonna do is call your
your building department, your DPW, whoever's in charge of your building, and they're going to assign people then to get the Dropbox, put it on a dolly.
The mayor does not do
this.
The mayor
doesn't put on a vest and gloves and a hard hat and smile for the pictures.
This was a stunt.
There was no doubt in the safety of the elections, because there's no doubt.
There's Dropbox voting, mail-in voting, absentee voting, however you want to do it.
is safe and it has been proven over and over again.
What he
did was a pure and unadulterated stunt for the crowd because he was a new mayor and he wanted to score points with his supporters.
And that's what he did.
And this is where we're now at.
Yeah.
Now, uh, Bondalette County DA attorney Eric Tony will serve as the, the special prosecutor in this case.
And again, Tony has said in the past that, uh, yeah, drop boxes are illegal.
So I'm sure this is going to be handled completely fairly.
Yeah.
This doesn't feel like it's going to go right to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Right.
And this plays in with, of course, Donald Trump's meeting with Vladimir Putin on Friday.
Yeah.
And Vladimir Putin doesn't like mail-in voting, so we need to get rid of it.
It's really good, though, Jane, that
he hates mail-in voting so much that there's no mail-in voting in Russia whatsoever.
But there is.
Wait, what?
There's mail-in voting in Russia.
Wait, what?
Yeah, I know.
That's called a fact.
Oh, man.
I hate that.
Can we do away with those?
On Monday, Trump announced on his social media website his intention to sign an executive order to lead a movement.
to get rid of mail-in ballots, very expensive, seriously controversial voting machines on the subject of voting machines.
Smartmatic just settled with Newsmax.
Oh, it wasn't Dominion?
No, it was News.
It was Smartmatic, I believe.
Because there are two different makers of voting machines.
So they settled for $77 million.
Because Newsmax had again been accusing the makers of these voting machines that they were all corrupt.
No evidence for that.
One of those picky evidence things.
And between the two, I was going to say major media, but it's Newsmax, so adorable media centers, but between Newsmax and Fox now that's nearly $850 million paid out in settlements with a lion's share, of course, to Fox, but for accusing these companies of fraud.
And guess what?
You say things on air like this.
You are going to be held accountable and and yeah, I mean for Fox That's I mean in the news core news corp.
That's a blip.
It's a nothing to them right because they're still talking about it
right so Yeah, although again if you go back to some depositions because Jean Pirro Who's on Fox on the five?

she had to testify in this case and testified under oath
Joe Biden won the 2020 election.
Just saying.
Also, it's kind of interesting, the GOP spent millions of dollars in 2024 backing efforts for mail-in voting.
Yes, they completely changed course.
Completely.
Brian Schimming, who was head of the Wisconsin GOP, we got to change lanes, you guys.
We got to start embracing mail-in voting.
And again, I wonder...
whether they're looking down the road, there is the potential that you could be alienating your own voters.
By taking away mail-in voting.
Mail-in voting is just the beginning.
It's going to be cutting hours to early voting.
There's no more early registration.
You have to be registered.
You can register early, then there's a cutoff.
You can't register on the day of.
That's what I meant to say.
You can't register on the day of.
They want nothing more than in person, on the day,
paper ballots.
That's it.
If you are
overseas too bad.

Isn't that the thing that helps our troops abroad steal elections?
Yeah, what's that going to mean for service members overseas?
If we get rid of mail in voting, they have to come back on the day.

This is from the independent Gavin Newsom expertly trolling Fox News stars by mimicking Trump online right down to the nicknames.
Gavin Newsom's pitch perfect parody has resulted in several Fox News hosts.
taking the bait and making the governor's point.

And Fox is losing it because when I type America now wins, thank you for your attention to this matter.
That is California Governor Gavin Newsom tweeting in the style of Donald Trump.
Yeah.
I mean, really just someone say holding a mirror up to the problem
in general.
I couldn't say that.
I mean, they're all and they're all kind of, I mean, that's that.
goes back to the, you know, I made this point on Monday, but this is a group of individuals whose whole milieu when it comes to comedy and having fun and laughter is about punching down and making fun of people.
And the moment you call them on their shenanigans, they accuse you of being, you know, snowflakes and the woke liberal mob and all those things because they don't know how to make a joke without making fun of someone that is
Obviously, marginalized and struggling.
So when Gavin Newsom does it, it's just the worst thing in the world.
Absolutely.
Which just proves my point always that they don't understand irony, they don't understand comedy, they don't understand parody, they don't understand satire, and they fall for it hook, line, and sinker every single time.

They're more of a past-looking, backward-looking kind of institution.

Because when we're you know, we're taught certain things in school and we don't think about them again and then you hear oh like I I had to hear from an HBO television show about the Tulsa massacre.

They've a Prager University Prager you kids as an educational resource because the Florida Department of Education review the content and determined that it quote aligned with the state's revised standards on quote grade.

Christopher Columbus.
And I'm just going to read one really quick.
He said, as I arrived in the Indies, in the first island, which I found, I took some of the natives by force in order that they might learn and might give me information of whatever there is in these parts.
And so it was they soon understood us and we them either by speech or by signs, and they were very serviceable.
He goes on to say, we absolutely should, we should make these people our servants, because we be, we be, we be insane not to.
They are of sound mind and sound body.
We can use them.
With 50 men, we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want.
That's another quote from him from his diaries.
So him being measured in his explanation on why we shouldn't be so not cool man about the topic of slavery.
No, he actually thought these people were nothing.
They were parasites to him.
They were there for his service and pleasure.
And I'm not gonna get to that point.
And I looked a little bit into the history of slavery, which, and yes, slavery was an existence for thousands and thousands and thousands of years.
But in at least one timeline that I found, there was a Japanese emperor or a Chinese emperor, BC, who tried to get rid of slavery.
And even in the 1400s, the Catholic Church said,
Slavery is fine, but not Catholics.
You can enslave everybody else.
But not them.
But not them.
They're good.
They're
fine.
So, yeah, slavery's been around a long time.
It's
always been bad.
It's always been bad.
And the thing too is this measure of, well, hey, Jane, Jane, Jane, before you get angry, before you start getting all upset about the past, you should let it go.
You have to understand what society was like I'm just gonna put it out here two points one.
I don't care It was wrong that it was wrong when we were doing it as a country It was wrong when it was when it was Jewish people in Egypt.
It was wrong Thousands of years before it was wrong whenever people did it was period wrong done and if you sit here and you took and you say hey Greg Take a moment.
You really get you're defending it
And you have no moral leg to stand on with me.

wanted to spend just a little time on this because he's still dead and he's still not going away as much as the Trump administration would like him to go away.
Yeah, Justice Department now says it will start giving Congress files from the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
This is from the Associated Press.
A key house lawmaker said Monday, a move that appears to avert at least a potential separation of powers clash.
These Epstein records will be turned over starting Friday to the House Oversight Committee.
And we'll see what happens from there.
Well, thank you Republicans for standing up and putting on your big boy shorts and saying it's time for justice to be served.
Well, yes and no.

I believe there is more to the story.

I believe he's on CNN talking about who it might be worth worthwhile to subpoena.
When we're talking about the Epstein case, maybe some folks who had been close to it who might actually know information that would be valuable.

So Democrats already forced the vote.
Remember, none of these files would even be coming to the public or to the committee had Democrats actually not forced Republicans to release the files in a vote where we got bipartisan support.
So this is only happening because we forced it.
We are planning to do the same thing.
Republicans refuse to bring Alex Acosta in front of this committee that we're going to need to force that vote.
How is the one person that put together this
this deal for Jeffrey Epstein, that knows the case inside and backwards, that knows every single piece of those documents, that oversaw much of the case.
If not testifying in front of us, that to me is something that's very concerning, first of all, and should create for us all this concern across the country.

Alex Acosta was working in Florida.
He is the one who set up that deal with Jeffrey Epstein knowing everything that they knew.
Yes.
He made it possible for Epstein to go out on work release.
He got to go back to his mansion and get more massages.
Alex Acosta is the one who worked out that sweetheart deal for Jeffrey Epstein.
And then Alex Acosta went on to get a job in the Trump administration.
He knows the details of what went down with this and no, nobody wants to talk to him under oath.
I guess the question also I have is why are there no records?
Like there, there should be, there should be, I don't know if this is a word.
These are, there are records which should be able to be subpoenaed.
There it is.
Like the records on this deal, the records on the conversations he had, unless he didn't turn the tape recorder on and there was nobody in the room, but the two of them, this seems highly.
odd for what they struck back in the day for Mr. Epstein when he was alive.
And
if you go back and look at old tweets from our current president, from Don Trump Jr.
From 2023, you can find tweets from both of them.
Release all the Epstein files.
People have a right to know.

As we mentioned with, um, the last topic with, with regard to enslaved individuals, it feels like when it comes to the trafficking of children, that's something that we can be like, Hey, it doesn't matter who you voted for, you're a criminal in scum.
If you are convicted of the crime, so therefore release the list and let the chips fall where they may.
And that went up to 2024 when you had people like Dan Bonjino and who is cash Patel.

they were talking about leaving their posts when they found out that this wasn't going to be released.
And just as a, you know, before we go to get ourselves hydrated up for the next hour, this is a reminder that Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred to a low security club fed, a low security prison, minimum security prison where she could qualify for work release if she wanted to as well.
And they're having that conversation.
And this person was,
part and parcel to one of the greatest human trafficking crimes this country has seen in a long time.
And somehow we're being led to forget about it.
They would love
people to forget

Want to start off this hour talking a little bit about vaccines and vaccine hesitancy.
Now that Bob Kennedy Jr.
is in charge of the Department of Health and Human Services, which is issuing far different recommendations than actual doctors.
This is from The Washington Post.
RFK Jr.
Pediatrician Association clash over COVID shots for kids.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommending all children ages six months to 23 months old, get a COVID vaccine as federal officials move to roll back.
Recommendations.
Recommendations, by the way, not mandates.
Recommendations.
But if you are a parent, I would love to know.
What you're feeling about this yeah eight five five seven five two four eight four two I guess the question is who do you trust more the Americanist Academy of Pediatrics or Bob Kennedy Brainworm Jr Who's a lawyer he has no he has no medical experience none
I'm struggling for words right now Jane because
I've fallen into some rabbit holes recently on social media, my fault.
And that's why it's really easy to get sucked in.
And that's why audio sorbet for me is going to be a good one because I also need to, I have, I'll be honest right now folks, not self caring very well lately.
So I'm going to use this as a way of getting some pointers.
All right.
But my point on this is seeing videos of individuals who are in the face of doctors.
to their faces, saying that they are wrong.
They aren't reading all the material.
They are misled, therefore misleading.
I truly don't know how we got here.
I don't understand this.
We're tough.
Again, we're talking about our kids and we're talking about mountains of evidence that
shows decades and decades and decades
of evidence that shows that vaccinations, though does not prevent everything 100% is far better than not doing a vaccination.
And the maladies and the, I don't want to say side effects, they're not proven.
these vaccines do not cause autism.
As far as the vaccine injured, that was Ron Johnson's whole reason for writing for another term.
Yes,
there are definitely cases.
There is an argument to be made that people will have adverse reactions of vaccinations.
It does happen.
But there is not enough evidence to show that the vaccines cause these reactions.
And these doctors who spend anywhere from, I don't know,
15 to 50 years of their career doing the research and doing the administration of these vaccinations who do the Recommendations and the advising being told by someone online.
Hey, I know something because I know a guy who knows someone you're wrong and the problem is is that that person who is being the who's being loud and obnoxious and
putting themselves out as the expert
and frankly entertaining to view that
gets to another person who goes, you know, I got the flu vaccine once and I ended up getting sick, you know, and that breeds that kind of doubt.
And then one person turns into two and then three.
And then all of a sudden we're telling our kids, well, you shouldn't get vaccinated.
It's far better for you not to be herd immunity.
That
is just the way to go,
brothers and sisters.

So if you would like to look into some of these things a little bit further, that's where you can do that.
There's a great article in PBS Wisconsin from August 18th, measles resurgence spurs memories of the diseases toll in Wisconsin.

So they interviewed a whole bunch of people who are in like their early 70s, mid 70s and 80s before measles vaccine was widely available.
And their experiences with measles, it's not good.
No, no, it's not something we want to go through or have our children go through.
Well, and frankly, I mean, I know a lot of the folks who directly
were affected by the first round of vaccinations, whether it's measles or polio, probably not with us right now.
They may be in there.
I just feel like it's such an insult to those individuals who stood in line and wanted to throw ticker tape parades for these medical experts who worked tirelessly to create a medicine which would eradicate a life-threatening disease worldwide.
We're sitting here going, well, you just didn't do your research, man.
Again, this is not about him.
I want to hear from someone who thinks this is a good idea.
Because I'm assuming that most of our listeners and people in the live stream are saying, to doi Jane and Greg, of course, vaccines are great.
And of course, this is the wrong way to go for the Department of Health and Human Services.
But I want to hear from the people who think this is a good idea.

of the approximate three to four million Americans who got measles every year before the infection, before the vaccination, three to four million people a year got measles.
About 48,000 of those ended up in the hospital, four to 500 died.
Measles can kill you.
We had a little girl in Texas who died last year from measles.
Yeah, but if we've learned one thing, Jane, is that the death of...
the death of some do not, do not endorse the prevention for more or all.
I mean, we see that with our, we'd see that with our gun laws or lack thereof.
How many children have been killed in this country because of guns?
And then we're being told, well, gun laws are not going to solve anything.
Vaccine and Jane are not going to solve anything, Jane.
And we just, we poke and prod these kids, they're going to get, they're going to get measles of the autism and they're just going to be terribly, they're going to be up a crick.
We got a couple comments coming in on the live stream.
Adam in Oregon listening on WXCO is a parent of two young kids.
I'll take RFK Junior's own words and not listen to his medical advice.
I was like,
where is this going?
And another listener on WAUK wants to stay anonymous, but as a nurse, I witnessed the suffering and death of way too many people from COVID.
This administration's actions are so incredibly wrong.
I can't imagine what our healthcare workers went through at the height of COVID when loved ones couldn't go see their loved ones as they were dying.
The number of hands,
Our doctors and nurses had to hold as people were expiring.
I watched, I'm sorry.
I have a friend of mine who had to watch her mother pass away on an iPad.
How sad.
And Cassandra on the live stream says, we can all be traced back to Andrew Wakefield and Jenny McCarthy.
And I know that that's kind of like the, the go to the go to area and you're not wrong.
That was, I mean, it was absolutely, and she does, I don't, I don't know if she's still pushed at the narrative anymore.
I have no idea because.
hurt.
She's lost the credibility and the relevance.
But
I thought she never had any credibility, but that's just me.
But that paper that she's the paper that Andrew Wakefield wrote that she was citing was dis was researched and discredited
and
debunked debunked.
And he would had to disavow it.
And they're still talking about to this day.
and they still have credibility, well that's the thing is they still have credibility Jane because people use this singular report
as the basis of all of their doubt.
I really encourage you to read this article that we will put up in our show notes about folks in Wisconsin who lived before there were measles vaccinations.
One child was described as healthy
until they developed encephalitis, which is an inflammation of the brain at the age of two because of measles, it left her mentally impaired and deaf.
About 1,000 children every year before the measles vaccine suffered from encephalitis.
Yeah.
Again, these are recommendations from experts.
These weren't, it wasn't anyone saying we need to mandate these if, you know,
If private companies want to mandate, if school districts want to mandate, that's for another conversation, that's for another discussion and the public process of debate and Robert's rules and all that stuff.
But what we're talking about here are the recommendations of experts who are- Who have spent years studying this.
Yeah, years.
And what I don't understand is why can they not accept just the recommendations?
Because at the end of the day,
The individual, the parents have the choice.
They can do it or not do it.
The consequences are theirs, but they have the choice.
So why get rid of the recommendations?
And then, if you have other recommendations, RFK Junior, and you're a fun group of people, let's see your evidence then.
That's too, like, if
they're
recommendations.
They know when they're gut, Greg.
That's all
they need.
If their recommendations are sound, then.
Give me the proof.
Give it to those experts.
Maybe they can incorporate into their recommendations.
But just to say, no, we're not, no, no, thank you.
That is, that is irresponsible on a level to me that I feel like is prosecutable.

But ball weather, it's kind of perfect timing.
It's just a little dose of it.
It's not going to last.
Don't worry.
We still get a summer streak.
But it's kind of refreshing.
I'm excited.

am too.
I can actually feel it here in Racine that.
The dew points must be coming down
because
it's not quite so sticky.
So what do we got coming our way?
Yeah.
So what we've got going on is a high pressure system settling in.
So nice sunshine, dry conditions as we go through the rest of this week.
But Friday night and into Saturday, it looks like a cold front moves through and that could spark some showers and storms.
That's the cold front that's going to bring in this autumn, nice weather.
So as we go into the weekend, beautiful, it is going to be sunny, dry conditions.
Breezy, too.
But we're looking at temperatures on Saturday in the low sixties far north as highs to low seventies far south.
And then on Sunday, we could potentially see temperatures highs in the upper fifties far north to sixties, low sixties far south.
And baby hangs on into early next week, too.
So a couple of days, maybe four or so, really feeling refreshed.
And then we start to bump it back up.
I mean, we've got Labor Day weekend.
We go in the water.
September and September can still be really beautiful and even until October we can get really beautiful weather so.
Oh yes we can still get those spikes and temperatures so it's not going away.
No complaining.
Oh, there'll be a
complaining, Brittany.
There'll be lots of complaining from the same people who like three weeks ago is like, it's so hot.
I'm that person.
I'm so cold.
And I'm always cold.
But I love the weather that's coming.
This makes me very happy.
I might be the only one, but we haven't opened our windows since May.
Me neither.
I mean, the air conditioner's been on.
So I'd love an opportunity to open up the house a little bit, get some air blowing through there.
Exactly.
I mean, every time that we maybe had a little refreshing weather, wildfire smoke was here.
So it's nice to finally have the relief.
Is it finally better up there, the wildfire smoke?
Yeah, I've been looking at it all day and a couple of days ago.
Pretty by the way, it's in wasa, in case you
don't know.
Yeah, not up here.
It's not in Minnesota.
I'm not seeing it anywhere off to the West either, so we're good to go.

Well, I mean, it's, it's the natural order of things.
I feel like we talk about this in, in, in pre-fall.
We're in pre-autom, I guess.
Pre-fall.
And then we talk about it, uh, pre-winter and all those things where we just seem to, and I include myself, by the way, just seem to forget the fact that this is Wisconsin.
It's subject to all four seasons.

cause you are also a winter person, correct?
Yes, I'm a snow queen.
I love it.
That's why I live here.
Obsessed with it, especially the lake effect snow.
Well, and I would think too, Brittany, for a meteorologist living somewhere like San Diego would

And it's another beautiful day.
It's 72 and sunny.
It wraps up my report.
I would run out of words to make it interesting.

The weather's going to be, you take a guess.
One of the things you did also mention really quick too about there was forecast on La Nina, La Nina.
Yes.
So we're looking ahead to fall and winter already.
The Climate Prediction Center came out with a La Nina watch.
So what that means is basically the ocean out in the area that we're really interested in is cooling down a little bit.
Not crazy, but a little bit.
So that tells us that, hey, we're going to go probably into a La Nina.
So fall and early winter, this could increase hurricane activity this fall.
This could also give us a colder and wetter winter.
And also more Alberta Clippers.
Hey, more snow.
Sounds like a basketball team.
I play for the Alberta Clippers.
And I know that we have a very limited time, but really quick, do they have any kind of forecast at least on snowfall coming up this year?
Because we know the Wisconsin has, the businesses up north have suffered the past couple of years.
Big time.
Yeah, no, no numbers on snowfall just yet, but just an increased amount because we're going to get more systems and more that jet stream here with the cold blast means more snow.
So good news, hopefully for us north.
Well, let's hope that a lot of these hurricanes don't develop because, again, we're still waiting.
I know Texas is still waiting.
Western North Carolina, they're still waiting for FEMA money.
I believe FEMA is going to be on the ground in southeastern Wisconsin tomorrow to take a look at the damage from the flooding two weekends ago.
But fingers crossed, things will be quiet.
I know.
We've got Erin right now, flooding the outer banks of North Carolina.
Roads are going to be impassable.
High winds, flooding, it's on repeat.

And when I get home, I generally just sit on the couch and watch television.
But it doesn't provide the release that I'm looking for and what a lot of people get out of their own versions of self-care.
So for me, as I said before, vested interest in listening to people and what they're doing because
Yeah, it's I suffer I suffer from a lot of stress and anxiety and a lot of it's put on by me I understand
we all do that to ourselves though, but
yeah, it's uh, it's I Don't know I would Reading doesn't do it for me because reading is just a frustrating activity.
Well, that's no fun Yeah, and and the television thing is fine, but it doesn't I'm not like I'm just gonna watch some crazy television.
It's just I'm kind of watching television to
get me through the day and be like, uh, take, allow the mind to stop talking
to me.

so yeah, I'm gonna, I'm, I'm here for suggestions, everybody.

For me, it is reading.

That that's always been even.
from when I was very, very little.
Reading has always been a great escape for me.

I was looking at the live stream.
Uh, PJ on the live streams is I pull weeds in my garden if I need to step away from social media.
And that honestly right there is like one of the big things is
I guess you could count this as self care.
Something I've been trying to do is when I do watch television, I try to put my phone on the other side of the room.
So I'm not looking at a screen, then looking at a screen, then looking at a screen and looking at a screen.
So I
try, if I'm going to watch television and watch a program, I'm going to put my phone down.
I'm going to put my glasses down and focus on the
thing right there and
taking the information.
But yeah, that's very, very important to get away from that social media because.
It can be informative, but it can be so damaging to
it's and it's exhausting It really is and I do this the same thing to PJ.
I'm on social media way too much because that's where news breaks Yeah, that's yeah, and but I will do the same thing out and I'm gonna do that today when I get home Boy, mine the weeds are doing really really well since we had all that rain.
They're like four and a half feet.
Oh, I know it's they look magnificent.
I can't I wish I could reclassify them
Really quick side note here.
Remember a couple weeks ago.
We were talking about Amazon Prime buys and what like and Chris Alfheim talked about that she had got she had bought a flamethrower Yeah, I got a suggestion for a flamethrower recently on Amazon and I thought to myself it's a weed flamethrower It's designed for weeding.
I'm like don't tease this is either gonna go incredibly well or is going to be a disaster
There's no in between.
Oh, that sounds bad.
That might be some self care right there.
That's burning down my house does not sound like a good idea for self care.
I think I'll stay away from the flame thrower for the week.
Cassandra on the live stream we're talking about how you self care.
Cassandra says about every eight weeks I go in for a facial, get a pedicure, just to get a break from the kids and the spouse.
Next week I'm going to a head spa.
I'd like to know what that
is.
Head spa is
that is that code for therapy or is that like
They work on your your skull and like they do the massaging and they do you know treatments I've seen that online
like a like a riku for your head.
Yes, there you go I just want to say really quick shout out to Dom because Dom you're you're in your early 20s, correct?
Correct 22 and I feel like one I don't know what it's like to be a 22 year old in this society today There's a lot of things happening and you and and God willing you have a long way to go in life, but there's gonna be a lot of things
that are going to change for your generation.

Your generation's embrace of self-care, normalizing it, encouraging it.
Talking about mental health.
Talking about mental health, encouraging for people younger and older and being there for people.
I just, seriously, when I hear young people talk about mental health and their ways of dealing with it, I just feel like it's like, oh, good.
At least one thing feels like it's being taken care of right now.
At least, you know, because even when I, I mean,
It's not eons ago, but it is decades ago, but when I was in my 20s Talk about that
ever
going to therapy my goodness

The energy the trees give off when you're hiking, you're just sitting on a stump and soaking up nature.

This is from CVS News, Amy Pitchie with the byline.
The headline reads, Walmart recalls great value shrimp after FDA warns of risk of radioactive contamination.
Hmm the
frozen shrimp
but it's but it kind of the frozen shrimp were imported from Indonesia and Sold at Walmart stores as great value brand frozen shrimp according to the FDA They noted it has recommended Walmart recall these products
A spokesperson says, from Walmart, the health and safety of our customers a top priority.
We are working with a supplier to investigate.
Walmart also says consumers who bought the shrimp shouldn't eat it.
Good advice there.
Thanks Walmart.
And should throw it out.
You can also contact the store where you bought it for a full refund.
The shrimp could be contaminated with a radioactive isotope.
called Salisium 137.
I'd like 135 but that's although the FDA said so far no products as yet have tested positive for Salisium 137.
The agency issued the warning about the great value shrimp after it found some of this in a single shipment of frozen shrimp from this Indonesian company.
Customers who bought the shrimp if it's glowing
I would throw it away.
Actually, they tell you to throw it away.
Yeah.
Also, I just think it's funny, like, the recommendation.
How about the mandatory, like, removal?
Just
get rid of the shrimp.
Don't throw the shrimp away.
Yeah, just...
Just... Should be an easy...
Easy or fix.
Solicium 137 detected in the imported shrimp was below the level of concern for imported foods.
FDA says at this level, the product would not pose an acute hazard to customers.
I don't know if that makes me feel better.
No, it doesn't, not at all.
But it does carry an elevated risk of cancer, resulting from damage to DNA.
So avoiding products like the shipments is a good idea.
You want to reduce your exposure to low level radiation.
I think I'm gonna put that on a shirt.
