Matt Rothschild and Angela Lang, Executive Director of BLOC, guest co-host. This past week, Angela celebrated 7 years since she founded BLOC- Black Leaders Organizing for Communities. BLOC is headquartered in Milwaukee and works to build community throughout the state. In the second half hour, Representative-elect Christian Phelps joins Matt and Angela to talk about positive outcomes from the 2024 election. Phelps won the 93rd Assembly seat, flipping it blue under new fairer maps. He shares his winning strategy: be genuine and stick to your values!
