Actually, I will say this.
The best water I've ever tasted is from Manitowoc.
I was in Manitowoc all weekend.
They have good water.
We go to that artesian well.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And you put it in a big old, like a Lamers chocolate milk bottle with those big, thick, heavy bottles.
And you put it there, it's so, I mean, it's crazy to say, whoever said, oh, that water tastes good.
This water is so good from that well.
Yeah, those are great.
Yeah.
Got a text there from Terry.
Good morning, gentlemen.
Had a blast at the Blue Ox Music Festival in Eau Claire this past weekend.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
Except for the damn rain.
I kept having the Woodstock chant in my head.
No rain, no rain, no rain.
Terry, how bad was it, Terry?
Yeah, Lenny's tap.
That's awesome.
So that place is on Broadway and Broadway in the last, what, 30 years has gone through renovation, 25 probably, 30.
And he has stayed the course.
And interesting guy who runs that place.
One of the, quiet guy, but one of the most generous people in Green Bay.
And he is celebrating obviously 50 years in business.
His first 45 years, get this tied, he was open every day.
It's amazing.
Yeah.
Right.
But, and he did the 50-50 raffle, his kids.
It was kids.
I mean, these kids are probably 28, 25 years old.
We're working the 50-50 raffle, and then you could bring canned goods or non-perishable goods for Salvation Army.
And the 50-50 raffle, the winner won 50.
The other 50 went to the new community shelter.
Oh, that's cool.
So generous.
He did the 50-50 raffle every hour.
So it was from one to six.
Great band.
And then he had his friends do the pig.
What's it called?
Sparkle.
Two of those.
Wow.
Right?
That sounds good.
And then, you know, baked beans and some other things.
And there were a lot of people there, I was just telling you.
And it was just free.
cool, and that's why Todd the other day or the other day we got a little week Yeah, but we were going when we went to pickle some bags.
Yeah, and we're driving down that street And again, I always get a mix of was that Congress Street or Oregon Street or not?
Oregon Oregon
And it's like those neighborhood bars are still there in Oshkosh.
Yeah.
I just think that's so cool.
It's tough to preserve those
Yeah.
Wow.
But I said to him, I just don't know.
I don't think people know how generous you are and he goes, I like it that way.
You know, it's perfect.
He's just low keyed and but boy does he do a lot.
So anyway, that was it's great to have him as a neighbor because we're right down the block from him.
Yeah, Michael Phelps is 40, Cole Swindell is 42, David Allen Greer is 69.
Boy, I'll tell you, a type of music that chews people up real quick is country.
I was watching a thing the other night.
These kids now, they're so young, and it's amazing how the older people, you know, they have, they have their, their reign, their kind of, and then these young, just move aside, move aside.
We got these young people coming in, move aside.
What
You can't, well no, I remember Johnny Cash.
I see.
Johnny Cash had the famous thing, or Billboard magazine, Foot with the Bird.
Just like no radio stations would play his music.
Yeah.
And it seems like it's getting that way now with these, these kids were so young watching this special the other night.
Mine.
Mine.
Beautiful.
I had it Saturday for lunch.
Yeah, did you put ketchup on yours?
Yes, so did I yeah, I did not I just ate it It was I ate and those were hearty those were good.
There's a lot in there and I was I do
I was going to text you and I didn't, but I ate part of it and I thought, ooh, I think some ketchup would really add
When Mino puts those glasses on, I feel he should have a chain on that and be playing Mahjong or Canasta.
can ask these are my you know what these are Todd I see what are those I they're here I don't know who's they are and I can't see like anything whatever it's like it's like it's like Vaseline over but I can read really good with them
Right.
Who's the guy that did it just recently?
One of the Baldwin brothers, right?
Alec Baldwin was the host for a couple of seasons.
He got canned.
Now the guy...
He was on Saturday night live.
I can't remember his name.
Uh, he's doing that TV show with Steve Martin Now they kind of go.
Um, Martin shorts.
But I don't like the nicest people.
You know, Uncle Miltie.
You'll never find.
But then he teed.
Another one like me.
He was, his show was good.
Just the rehearsal, he wasn't.
Whereas DMO, I didn't think it was very nice to the crowd.
Well.
Todd, who are yours?
My number one is Frank Gorshwin.
They're saying, because David Marinus from the, you know, Washington Post, he wrote the book on Bill Clinton.
The, what is it?
The, is it a biography when you don't have the person's permission?
So he wrote the biography on Bill Clinton.
Okay.
I think that might have been what he won.
The Pulitzer honors, but it wasn't favorable to say that.
Yeah.
So David's dad, who's a longtime newspaper guy in Madison.
He invited him to the correspondence dinner.
And they were talking and he goes, hi, David, how are you?
This is my dad.
Or this is my dad.
Oh, how you doing, man?
Hey, David, one quick thing.
And he goes, yeah.
Nice tie.
Which is him saying bleep you.
Exactly.
Yeah, that was, that was kind of a fun party, but yeah, he, but he tried being funny.
He was not funny.
He was not funny.
He said, you know, Laura told me not to say that.
You know, I'm here at the home.
I appreciate doctors.
So he's a, he's a brain surgeon.
I guess we don't have too much in common, huh?
It's just kind of like a plate.
Laura told me not to say that.
Yeah.
And then he was at, um, a place right across from Bay Beach.
It made those like, uh, what's the guy's name?
Made those like cartons.
Anyway, I took my daughter, Laura, cause, uh, Laura Bush was there.
He was there with Laura.
He was, um,
And then she signed a card to Laura, you know, to Laura from Laura Bush.
And I said, well, maybe you can take that to like, she won't tell.
And she's like, it's not even a toy.
She did not think it was that
Yeah, you're exactly right But you know why it's one of those things too in in our business because we you know, we know who the Good people are and we know who the yeah, okay You just know because you work with them, you know, and you could put on such a persona You know in in this field.
All right, but How many times have you had to bite your teeth with somebody you know as a total home?
Yeah, whatever.
I think oh my god.
I love
Oh, I know.
Leap.
Oh, here's the nicest human being.
He's like, and you know, but you can't, you can't say
for what I just for my radio name radio name I'm the only person so I was just used my own name and radio Isn't that funny when you think about it a little bit, but it's very radio ask But I mean who think of who else was the last key because it used to be
The old school was, it shouldn't be any sort of ethnicity.
Country.
Country.
Country or classic rock?
Those might only two.
It can't be modern.
Either one of those.
So I think you've got to go with Johnny.
Johnny.
Okay.
It's got to be Johnny something.
I would say truck and Johnny.
Trucking Johnny King.
I think people would throw no, no, I think they'd say leaping Johnny or something.
Oh, we'd
Yeah.
Well, I mean, I can't steal that though.
Well, you know, that show is still, it popped up.
You know, that's a cool thing about TV these days.
Dom hooked me up to get like prime, whatever.
And it had a thing on where it's all old TV shows.
And that's kind of cool when you can watch like WKRP.
I mean, those were fun shows in that era.
You know what I mean?
They were just fun shows.
Clean shows, whatever shows, it was just, I used to, when I was doing sports, if I went home to eat in between the six and the 10, it's like one of those shows would always be on.
And it's like every night there was, there was that one and it was the, what was it?
The Alex P Keaton.
Oh yeah, family ties.
Family ties.
I mean, whenever you turned on the TV at night, there was like a really good show you could watch.
There's nothing anymore.
Is there?
Are there?
Those kind of TV shows anymore.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
