Hey now.

It's John and Courtney in the afternoon and a good afternoon to everybody out there freezing to death.

Wow.

Happy Friday.

What did we get hit with this one?

Yeah.

It's the deep freeze.

It's the extreme freeze.

That's right.

Terribly cold out there and it's dangerously cold and you know, hope you're getting through it.

Okay Bundle up dressing layers, you know, check your windshield wipers

You haven't done

that already yeah Kick the tires Check your oil.

I don't know If you go out and you're driving around, you know, you should have all the proper emergency gear in your car

I'm talking a couple of cases of water, get some sleeping blankets.

Yeah.

Pillows.

Some

beer.

Some beer.

Cops

will love that.

Maybe some, maybe some of their

alcohol.

Well, you're not moving, you're just parked, you know, you're trying to survive.

They believe you, right?

You say, hey, look, I got to survive.

You know, I got to have a few beers here before I hit the road again.

It

takes vodka along, a couple of shots of that.

Yeah.

You know, warm right up.

All

right.

No problem.

So

that's

our advice.

I don't know.

I actually didn't think this would happen.

I thought, you know, the cold temperatures that we had yesterday were well, nothing really.

That was

enough.

Yeah.

I thought, well, that was the warning.

Yeah.

We're going to get that kind of weather.

And, uh, and then you wake up to like, uh, 14 and 17 below zero.

Right.

Wow.

Yeah.

You know, it's

not

that bad.

Right.

It's pretty bad.

As long as you cover

up a little bit, you know, you're fine.

you know yeah dressing late like I said before just you know it's good common sense

okay

all right well

you know we gotta hear okay well right I have to work on my common sense good common sense stuff

Parker is our producer today and engineer and Parker how did you what time did you get in

I got in at about eight o'clock today.

I believe it was negative 17, I think.

It feels like it was in the negative 30s, so it was brisk.

It was okay.

It was fine.

Getting our texts going here.

Len from Madison says, you know it's a cold day when your teeth start chattering and they're still on the nightstand.

Boom, boom.

Good one.

Good one, Len.

Thank you for sending

that.

There you go.

8-5-5-7-5-2-4-8-4-2.

That's our number.

You can text us on the Civic Media app, if you'd like.

All right.

Yeah.

So here it is Friday, and it's going to stay cold all weekend.

But I think today and tonight, the worst of it, right?

Right.

Then it gets slightly better later in the weekend.

OK.

Now, yeah, I'd like to promise at least, you know, we got to get through a lot of stories here in the program.

Yeah.

Look at this.

I'm stacking them up again.

This was my morning show problem, and I'm doing it here in the afternoon.

What the heck?

You know, we got,

we got a lot of stuff.

Three hours and you get a lot of material to go through and we'll get to all of it or some of it or maybe none of it, you know,

depending

on how things go.

Look, we're already getting our first call here.

Cindy is

online.

I know

that.

You know, usually Matt has the honors of the first phone call of the day, but maybe he's taking the day off.

I don't know.

Cindy, go ahead.

Good

afternoon.

How you doing?

Good well, I was just listening to the Tom Hartman show on my computer which I usually don't see you on the radio But anyway, CJ was on there today.

Oh,

well good

and I was watching the comments coming in from the chat Yeah, I just

Yeah,

well she faded away here out

But I drifted away.

Okay.

Uh,

probably a line, a phone line froze up or something.

Everybody felt like, you know, they were listening to Trump and Davos.

Um, yeah, I didn't listen today.

I missed the program.

Yeah.

Well, CJ being on Tom Hartman today.

So that means he won't call us today.

Yeah.

So he's, that is

probably everything you wanted to say.

Oh, Cindy's back.

Mention all the different subjects that he always brings up.

Cindy, you're back.

Cindy, you're back again.

Yep.

Sorry, my alarm went off and cut me off.

Anyway, I've decided that the initial CJ stands for chronically jaded.

Hey, there it is.

He'll probably like that.

We've

defined that.

I think he likes

that.

Yeah.

All right.

Thank you.

Thanks for calling.

Kathryn Lake

We're going

to go through a whole bunch.

If we have the old teletype.

I don't know if that's in the back room yet or if they started putting things away here at the station.

We'll have to get

a look in the closet.

We'll have to find out, maybe plug it in again.

We'll

get to that.

Yeah, we're taking more of your calls here, 855-752-4842.

Yeah, we need the teletype when we can find it here.

We'll take a couple of minutes here.

It's so old, it's not even a grounded plug, you know.

Right?

You just have to put it in someplace.

But we have a lot of stories, a lot of things that have happened again, you know, every day something happens.

It just never

stops.

I'm checking some of the temperatures around the state right now up in Wausau, 16 below.

That's the actual air temperature.

16 below, wind chill makes it feel like 36 below in Wausau.

Let's see, Green Bay, sunny in minus 10, feels like minus 34, La Crosse minus 12, feels like temperatures minus 31 there in the Dells, nine below.

Oh, it's

nice

and sunny in the Dells.

That's the warm spot so far.

Minus 27 wind chill and Milwaukee also nine below and 31 below.

And that's a good roundup.

Kind of a, it's just cold everywhere.

11 below

here in

Madison.

Yeah.

And 31 below is the wind show.

So, you know, just use precaution, just be smart out there and get through it.

All right.

Right.

Well, that's your advice then, right?

It is.

Being a former weatherman on TV, you guys know everything.

Yeah.

Former is the keyword there.

Oh, okay.

Let's go back.

There's still a sore spot with him.

Ted is on the line here from Appleton.

Good afternoon, Ted.

Go ahead.

I won't talk about roadkill or anything this time.

Good.

Did you guys happen to see the Jack Smith fake hearing?

I saw clips of it.

Yeah.

Yeah, I've seen clips of it as well.

I didn't see the whole

thing.

Watch the very end with our very own idiotic Glenn Grossman.

Oh, no.

Oh, what do you say?

Yeah.

Oh, God, he was terrible.

He was spewing off how

Trump won 2020 and he knows them personally and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

He reminds me of CJ where you just wanna grab through the radio or TV and just grab them by the, you know, Watson.

Right.

I know the feeling.

Try to catch that with Glenn and...

How big of a fool he made Wisconsin look.

I will definitely

check that out.

We'll try to get it on today.

Yeah, we'll do a

little digging.

Yeah,

good idea.

Thank

you.

What's Parker doing working?

You're really your man,

you know, we just roll the dice every day and then you know, whoever wins gets to produce

the real truth is that we're really hard to work with

Well, it's just, you know, it's a matter of who's available and who feels like producing us on any given day, I guess.

And today it's Parker.

Okay.

Well, why don't we... I'm happy to be here by the

way.

Oh yeah,

I'm sure

you have

to say that.

Big thumbs up, okay.

All right, we'll get to Jack Smith in just

a

few moments here.

We've got Gene on the line.

What have you got for us, Gene?

Hey, Gene.

I'm looking forward to the rest of it.

I watched that whole Galdaren thing live, taking notes.

And if you can see, there were three of our representatives from Wisconsin, a bunch of idiotic, I don't know, kids from behinders.

uh... yeah

something

like that i heard and then tiffany was on there and not i think only one of them had a legal background on this judiciary committee i don't know what the devil they're doing on it in the first place but i strongly recommend people with the trip there are a lot of times where i could hardly stand it you know i watch these people live when the uh... when when uh... capital was attacked i had three different television on different stations to see the coverage and how they covered it

And, uh, it didn't seem like no party to me and real peaceful, but it really is unbelievable guys, the way that you're trying to spend this stuff instead of watching out what's going on with our neighbors in Minnesota and all the, you know, the abuse that they're doing with even children.

So anyway, keep up the great work.

People need the information.

Love you guys.

Bye.

All right.

Thanks a

lot.

Appreciate that.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah, it's, it's, it's still brewing

in

Minneapolis despite the.

Extremely cold temperatures up there just like here, you know But still a lot of activity there unfortunately

few a few cuts here in regards to Jack Smith So we could get to them and we'll get to the other cuts a little bit later on that the suggestions that maybe Glenn growthman Definitely should be highlighted in all of this, but we'll start with Well, this is kind of an interesting thing there was this debate about

the flight risks that Jack Smith did, you know, try to get the, or did get the records, the phone records of some Republican senators.

And there was a question about, you know, why did you, why did you think that any of these senators were a flight risk?

Now, keep in mind that there's a list of things

that are included in the risk factors.

Okay.

Okay.

So flight risk is one of the risks.

You don't sit there and chalk off one or, you know, mark off one.

It's all included, whichever one is protected and is necessary for these senators, it'll apply to them.

Okay.

I mean, I'd apply to them being a flight risk, but that's, you know, that's not the point.

But anyway, the Republicans tried to make it a point.

Let's listen to 310.

Okay

No

Because it's part of a whole list.

Yeah, he interrupted me at that point because he was just about to explain why.

Answer one of those issues on the list may not apply to him.

He's saying that it may not apply to this senator, right?

But

I hate

it when they cut them off.

Yeah,

you know Right in the middle of their answer and then just jump right in

now this this is a republic Oh, wait, we've got to take a break here.

We've got one Republican just trashed Jack Smith.

Oh, really started trashing the Capitol police So we'll listen to that in just a

moment.

All right

Just getting started on Friday afternoon, it's John Peterson, Gordy Young, along with Parker Olson, our producer, and you taking your phone calls at 855-752-4842, coming right back after this.

It's cold.

Yes.

Very cold.

Very, very cold.

Extremely cold.

Unbearably cold.

You know what?

When we were in rock radio, we played that

song.

Yeah, I know.

Foreigner.

That was great.

Yeah.

Late 70s, early 80s.

Cold as ice.

Hot-blooded.

Check it and see.

We read rock lyrics.

You know, it's

poetry.

Yeah.

Yeah.

and that's

some

great stuff.

Did you do that?

No,

Kathryn Lake

but I have done

it.

It sounds like a fun feature.

Yeah, it sounds like a fun feature.

Find some

really, like, stupid rock lyrics and read them to

some nice music in the

background.

Stuff we should treasure for the rest of our lives.

Oh, sure.

The background of our histories.

Right.

But it

is really, really cold.

You know, earlier this morning...

Jamie Martinson went outside and did a, did she do Parker a demonstration

of how cold it

was?

She had

some boiling water, right?

She had boiling water and she went across the street and tossed it up into the air.

Yeah.

And it like kind of vaporized or something turned into snow, I guess.

I don't really know.

That's cool.

Yeah.

I

mean, you had it on the video, right?

Yes, we did.

We've got our street cam on the windowsill there so we can see out that way.

I understand.

Can we look at the street cam?

I understand the

pedestrian slipped on the ice that she created out there.

No, no, no, no, no, no.

We're subject to a lawsuit.

That's already a lawsuit

now, and they're blaming us.

Yeah,

they thought we did it.

No,

not us, definitely not.

Okay.

Is that where she was earlier today on that corner?

That's right across the street from

she was right on the corner there just across the streets I'm pretty sure she said while she was crossing the street.

She's like I'm jaywalking.

I'm jaywalking.

I'm jaywalking.

I wouldn't admit to that live on

air, but okay Well, there's not much traffic out there right now.

Everybody's hunkering down.

Yeah, but I think maybe we should come up with something to do.

What do you think?

Oh,

yeah, I think I'm straight how cold it is.

You

have one of our extra t-shirt.

I do

have a John and Gordy t-shirt here in the

morning.

Yeah, I

think a classic.

Yes, the original

really nice.

Yeah, but I was thinking I could soak this in water

Then run outside and see how long it takes to freeze now.

I've seen this done before it usually takes like two or three minutes, but we'd like to demonstrate that

you

might be the one to freeze first

I Don't know I would do this but yes, if you have energy

level and then I just walk across the street there It'll be should be frozen.

You have to walk across the street.

It's like the same temperature on our side.

I know but the street cams

over on it's all across the street

Otherwise nobody will be able to see it on YouTube or Facebook

Well, I'm sorry.

I didn't understand that.

Let's go to the phone lines right now.

We've got Mark, who I think is sick.

Right.

Mark

is sick.

How

you

doing, Mark?

No, no, I'm not sick.

I just, you played that song and the line goes on.

My temperature is 103.

Oh, okay.

You go inside this kind of weather.

If you're going to catch a cold and your temperature might be 103.

Yeah.

Ah, yeah.

Right?

What I originally called the vote is that how many of the people, you know, I posted this, that how many of the people on that committee

were actually involved, may have actually been co-conspirators in the fake-elector plot, because I can't imagine that Glenn Grossman was not unaware that Ron Johnson was mulling around the fake-elector ballots after all his fellow Republican representative, Scottie Fitzgerald, was the one who arranged the room for those fake-electors to meet, so that I can't imagine they kept that all quiet.

Because of course, Glenn Grossman and

Tommy Tiffany and Scottie Fischeldt all voted against certifying that election.

So don't give me any guffabog or crap about how indignant he is about all this

stuff.

Of course you don't look for the phone records to see who actually was communicating about the plot to overthrow the election of 2020.

That's the first thing you do as an investigator in some kind of thing like that.

legal investigator, but I had it was an auditor and you had to go wrong and get the chain of evidence.

You do.

Yeah.

The guys just spelt this indignation.

I mean, they're lucky that it's not a free forum where Jack Smith could have tore them all a new one because I imagine a good chunk of those guys were in on the plot and that the fact they're going after cops, nonsense to that.

I mean, it just is, it's, as I've said it before, you know, it's, you know, kind of in half ingested.

It's too bad that the crowd didn't grab Ron Johnson, mistake him for his fellow albino Mike Pence and drag him out to the gallows and show how peaceful that was.

If

he got the hands of Mike Pence, Mike Pence would have been dead.

Well, we'll see how

that fake elector thing turns out here in Wisconsin.

That's a big thing.

And it might even point some fingers at some of the senators that we know of.

We do have a

Very quick cut here of Glenn Grossman.

This is his opening statement.

So let's listen.

Here we go.

Yeah, clarify there.

Yes.

What?

What was

that?

Oh.

No, thanks.

We didn't know that.

Oh,

really?

Yeah, we could tell that, right?

In a riot, you can certainly tell that it's really not a threat to the powers that be.

Right.

From certifying the election, I don't know.

How would he know that?

What is he saying?

What is he talking about?

I

don't know.

That's going to grow for you.

Was not watching the same live video feeds that we were seeing that

day.

Oh, it was a riot, but it was no threat to the country.

It

was no threat.

OK.

OK.

Really?

Sure.

OK.

It's a degree of rioting, I guess.

Maybe he should give

us

that.

29 past the hour, the Midwest Farm Report coming up next, and we're back with more of John and Gordy.

This is John and Gordy talking about Jack Smith.

We brought in a few cuts.

We're going to broaden the scope of the Jack Smith discussion as well with a few other pundits.

You have something from YouTube there.

What is

that?

We have a comment from Mark Kaye and he says, was Grossman aware of the fake elector plot?

Did he coordinate with Scottie Fitzgerald inquiring minds, mine at least wants to know that.

Yeah.

And of course, you know, Mark, you know, wants to kind of clarify here, it was

this riot was designed to delay the certification, which then would toss it back to the state legislatures.

Now, let's get to another comment from Glenn Grossman here.

This is kind of an interesting cut because he brings up a familiar name that I'm somebody that traumatized me for life.

All right,

let's just get to this here.

Let's play it.

Lucky lucky you The prior question before he asked that question he showed a list of people you familiar with any of these people on this list And he was looking at it, you know trying to decide something you know and Vickie's was highlighted in yellow But then he went back to it and he asked are you familiar with her and what is he supposed to know?

Obviously, you know, she has very close ties to the Republican party here in the state.

He interviews them all the time and may have had some involvement in the fake electors plot.

In fact, I wouldn't doubt it at all.

In fact, I hope she's locked up right now.

No, I'm just kidding.

You

used

to work with her.

What are you talking about?

Yes, I used to work with her.

I worked with her for one year and then she stole my show.

So, okay.

Hey, look.

And she's still there.

I'm good with that.

I'm good with that.

You know, we had a little get together, a big reunion at the radio station where we both did that show and, uh, and, uh, I

know I was there.

I met her.

It was a very pleasant, very pleasant meeting.

Very nice.

Yes.

Did we say any of those pictures?

We do have group pictures.

We do have pictures with her just to prove that we met her.

Yes, just to prove that

we know fist fights.

We broke

out.

Nothing.

There was no drinks thrown in each other's faces or anything like that.

Well, you were standing between us, you know, holding us back.

I was trying to keep the peace.

You know, that's my role.

You thought that might have ended up in a fist fight.

It could have though.

I'm, you know, just saying.

Okay.

Now, you know, before

Before we get to more Glenn Grossman, I want to get to this.

This is a Republican laughably trashing Jack Smith and the police.

When somebody in the crowd, in the stands where people were sitting, they coughed into their hands.

Oh yes, I heard that.

I actually saw this and heard it.

I'm thinking that guy was one of the police officers.

Capitol police officers.

Well, I went out.

He was a big guy.

Oh, yeah.

Yeah, he coughed into his hands.

Yeah, it reminded me of high school.

And well,

you know what?

You know what?

What?

This Republican deserved this.

Oh, yeah.

Oh, he deserved it.

What do you hear this?

This is just wonderful stuff.

Let's listen.

Phenon.

Yeah, claim

your time.

They

they paused their They

Kathryn Lake

know what

they said and that is you know go f yourself Yeah in a cough right disguised as a cough

and then after

the guy deserved it man.

Oh,

yeah After the meeting they did you see the video afterwards?

Oh, yeah, they were in each other's faces.

I

mean

it was it was really getting heated

And

well, they should.

Why was he criticizing these individuals?

Well,

right.

Well, Fanon's friend had to kind of come up behind him and like push him away from that, whoever the legislator was that was talking there.

So you got it got close to breaking out in a fight, but but they calmed down and everything was fine.

Well, that's good.

Yeah, that's good.

OK.

All right.

Legal consultant Andrew Weisman.

broaden the whole meaning of this event, I think in this particular statement.

So let's listen to this.

All right.

Mm-hmm

What he talked about when he was talking about Nostalgia is the fact that Jack Smith represented what was law and order in this country

When it was credible now

no one can believe anything anything the FBI or the FBI is saying at this point at least you know this guy still exists.

Yes, he's still out there, right?

He was cast aside they had the withdrawal

all of the investigations and they can bring those back by the

way.

They can in the future and I hope they certainly do.

Let's go to Dick on the line right now.

Dick, go ahead.

Well yesterday when I talked to you about the situation with Grossman,

Kathryn Lake

you

know how laughable he is but the guy that you just played was just as much laughable and here's how.

Most of the questions from Republicans seem like

Something out of the Twilight Zone.

Yeah, I didn't have much to do with it.

I did see

those.

Yeah, right

But he made the accusation if I'm not mistaken Right after that clip or a little further into it And he goes the problem was that you were not prepared for what happened that day But on the other hand they tell you that nothing did happen and it was just a little get-together, right?

So how the hell can it be both?

It can't be both.

You're right.

That's right.

Yeah Absolutely

Yeah,

I know I know they contradicted themselves all the time now let's go to Charles in Milwaukee Charles go ahead

Hey guys, so Michael Fallone He got in the face of a January sixer who was parting this guy had been saying stuff like his Michael Fallone daughters should get raped or they should get killed or something and Yeah, Harry done is the one he was another

Um, Capitol police officer, he's the one that pulled them back.

But yeah, the guy that Michael was getting ready to get into it with was a January six or who said all this horrible things about his family after he was being up by these thugs,

right?

Yeah.

Yeah.

He threatened his family.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Threatened him with rape.

Yeah.

And, um,

so yeah.

So that's who that's the, that's who face got.

But it puzzles me that these guys, I saw Eric Swalwell basically call them out and say, you know, when you guys are behind closed doors, you guys get all this bastard stuff about Donald Trump.

And I also heard that when when Jack Smith testified behind closed doors, Republicans weren't putting on a show.

Yeah.

You know, it's a shame that that they're steady.

I mean, to hear them say that

that the 2020 election was stolen.

I mean, these fools are still riding with Donald Trump that the 2020 election was stolen.

They know why their phone records were subpoenaed.

They were involved with it.

Yes, especially Jim Jordan, who's another pedophile cover-upper.

Well,

that's true.

I know.

It's one after the next in this administration.

It really is.

Yeah.

All right.

Charles, thank you.

Yeah, that was good.

855-752-4842.

Phone lines are back open.

We'll get to more of Glenn Grossman in a few moments here, but I want to play little Ben Rhodes.

He was a security advisor and he's also a host on Pod Save America.

Again, he was broadening the scope of all of this globally and what it means all the illegalities of this administration and what they've been trying to pull on everybody, including the rest of the world.

So let's listen to 312.

Yeah, again, you know, they make it more global at this point because, you know, I mean, we're seeing it at home here.

They war in their streets, in our local communities, and what do you did during the January 6 riots?

And now, of course, you know, we're an embarrassment to the rest of the world.

So,

you know, everybody's making the comparison and saying, we're kind of really not a control here, running off the tracks.

Yeah, especially up in Minnesota, in Minneapolis.

And that's not the only place.

Coming back with more of John and Gordy and more of your phone calls, 855-752-4842.

Stay with us.

Kathryn Lake

You're listening to Civic Media.

It'll be gold and that's for sure.

John and Gordy here in the afternoon and talking about, well, I guess everybody's questions about Jack Smith.

Right.

Glenn Crawford's especially.

We have one more clip.

Ah, oh good.

This is, you know, he is so confusing to listen to.

Well, just he is not a smart man and he never has been, but he's been very open.

He's been on a lot of radio

shows

here at the station

and other slides to talk

to him on

awful

lot.

Never had the.

opportunity to talk to Glenn, but he seems like a nice guy, willing to answer any question in any way possible.

Understandable or not?

I interviewed him a few years ago on a different radio station up north in Portage, and yeah, it was an experience.

All right, let's listen to their last clip of Glenn Rothman here talking to Jack Smith.

He was going to answer.

Well, he did

cover up the answer.

Jack Smith was going to give him that he was going to game the system and perform the illegal acts.

But that Glenn.

I think we got time for a call here.

Let's head up to Appleton.

Cam is on the line.

Let's talk to Cam.

What do you got for us, Cam?

Hey gentlemen, I'm gonna try to keep this factual as possible.

No no dinking around or anything.

Okay, I I get so frustrated because we hear these people say that 2020 was stolen when we're looking at evidence from each of the states Collected from each of the counties when they output the vote totals at the end of an election cycle and it's

Pretty clear when it's a repeating pattern in every state that they manipulated something Likely at the tabulator level when all the votes are being processed Because it looks just like the elections that happen in Russia since Putin started manipulating those Yes, and it's called a Russian tale.

I recommend people look it up I recommend that people look into election truth alliance smart elections

Both of them are very good resources.

They're not crazy, tinfoil, Alex Jones-esque people.

They're very no-nonsense, very factual, information-grounded, in reality-based people, giving good information about elections, and they're trying to investigate this.

and I really wish someone would report on it because I've been trying for a year and I can't get a single person to actually report on any of this information.

It's like it's too much information for them to look into and they just drop it and it's making me go insane.

It's been almost every day I've tried to get someone to look into it and no one does.

Well, look, I've looked into a lot of this myself, but it's hard to organize.

Again, it's all over.

I mean, it's found in every other state.

You know, it's not in every state, but we found evidence in all these other states that something happened that seemed inconsistent.

And I get that, but no one's drawn any conclusions from it.

It's not an effort that is coalescing around one group or...

you know, one announcement or looking into one aspect of it and then going for it.

I really haven't seen anything on this.

It's very difficult to talk about because it's not organized enough.

You know, it's all over the map.

You know that, right?

Yeah, it is all over the map, but these two groups release reports on the regular that are backed by people with... Oh, okay.

Those groups are...

Those groups are what?

Again, the names.

Yeah, tell us the names again.

Russian... Election.

electiontruthalliance.org and smartelections.us.

They release reports on the regular and they also have sub stacks that they post to on the regular.

This stuff is actually very organized.

I'm not saying I'm surprised.

I understand that the information gets bogged down a lot, but these guys have very organized information.

And one last thing I'd like to touch on, I'll try to be quick.

They try to get lawsuits through in two states, because that's how people say, well, bring it to the courts if you have evidence.

They do.

They bring this evidence to the courts.

The courts specifically do not dismiss these trials or these lawsuits.

They don't dismiss them off of the data or the facts that are given.

They dismiss them because they say you have no right to bring this lawsuit.

Right,

exactly.

It's

maddening.

Now, you might want to check the lever out.

And I don't know if Greg Palis has anything to do with it.

You can hear him on Tom Hartman often.

But he is really into the election issue himself.

So you might want to check out his site.

All right, Matt, Cam, just...

just for curiosity sake.

Cam, thanks for your call.

Coming back with more of John and Gordy for Friday.
