Hello, hello.
Well, I want to change the subject just a little bit because I just got in my email box,
weekly update from Congressman Tony Weed, which is called the weed wire.
But I just want to read a little bit of it here and give you an idea of a show and also give you a good laugh for Friday.
It says, Congress's primary role is to uphold the Constitution.
Safe card taxpayers' dollars ensure that the federal government is funded in a responsible, transparent way.
Unfortunately, far too long, instead of doing the hard work of the budgeting and time, Congress has shirked that responsibly.
But for the first time in 29 years, the House of Representatives returned to regular order by officially passing the final four of the 12 appropriations bills.
I think that might be something you would like to talk about soon, because I would like to know what all those appropriation bills were and how much damage they're going to do to it now.
Yeah.
Here's one of the other things came to mind.
Now, if it is a universal healthcare system, the insurer is the government.
You have every chance in the world to vote somebody out if they're not improving the healthcare system.
So if it's got problems and it needs some kind of reform, every program that you put in place needs reform over time.
Earlier a caller talked about the ACA.
It needed improvements.
Some things needed to be changed because we found out it didn't work as well.
But the Republicans didn't help.
They didn't want to change any aspect of the ACA, kept it that way without making improvements along the way.
Now we could make improvements.
with a government insurance program, but again, if they're not improving the program, vote the darn person out and put somebody in who promises to change the system and improve even on a universal healthcare system.
So that's what it's all about.
Let's see, we want to update folks on a situation at the UW Whitewater campus in Rock County and Parker, I know you've got some information on it.
I think it's the same thing that I'm seeing here.
This started up about 2.55 this afternoon when there was a report of shots fired on the Rock County.
campus in Janesville.
Again, this is part of UW-Whitewater, but it's in Janesville.
And apparently they've cleared some of the buildings.
There have been no other real reports, but we've monitored several reports on local news outlets here.
Parker, what do you know?
Yes, if you go to the Rock County Sheriff's Office, their Facebook page, they currently have a statement up saying that there were shots fired in the vicinity of the UW-Whitewater Rock County campus that
again is in Janesville.
And they are, I believe, making sure that it's safe.
There is currently not a threat to the public that is always believed right now.
They have asked people to stay clear of the area of the Rock County campus again in Janesville.
for
a just a guy in Denmark with a message to Trump after his speech in Davos music is I know it really makes it dramatic doesn't it?
Hey, I got this other late-breaking story here over 100 priests were arrested in Minneapolis for protesting ice in Minnesota Really where today?
It's you know again, you know seven below.
Maybe it was 21 below and these
clergy were out there, priests were out there.
100 arrested in Minneapolis.
Wow.
The clergy gathered in prayerful solidarity to demand airlines, especially Delta and signature aviation, cease contracting deportation flights from the state.
Wow.
That is just an amazing thing.
100 of them.
Hey, this looks really good, guys.
Yeah.
Yeah, keep it up.
Oh, man, it's it's awful to hear, but it's satisfying to hear that people are coming out with just, I mean, so cold out.
It's
just spent a half hour, you know, trying to beep up my 17 year old Honda fit so it won't die during the night.
And I can tell you it's cold out there.
So I just wanted to make a couple of points.
Number one, in a week where this 70-year-old mong man was hauled from his house, there's pictures of him with his blue boxer shorts on and his crocs and his grandson's blanket over his shoulder.
In a week where this five-year-old, Liam Ramos,
And his dad were picked up, a picture of this tiny little five-year-old.
They're in some detention facility in Texas.
They don't quite know where.
The mother is going frantic.
And it was those two people had active...
um, asylum requests in and no deportation order, which is what you're supposed to do.
That's how the law is supposed to work.
And in a week where we're told that ice is saying no warrants, no warrants at all in a week where they're now talking about how ice is following white people out of grocery stores who are carrying boxes of groceries, figuring that they're going to drop them off at their immigrant neighbor's houses.
So this will give them a chance to be able to find more immigrants that they can toss into detention.
To which I would say keep driving just keep driving around and maybe you know, maybe you'll get there Maybe they won't so and then we finish it off because the week with hearing that a two-year-old and her father were picked up Detention that's where we are people a two-year-old and her father are picked up for detention not quite sure where she is boy.
I hope she's safe
So thank type guys and thank God for the people in Minnesota coming out in the numbers that they did.
Thank God for
Well said, Joe.
Now you'd think that there would be some reporting system, a responsibility.
by ice to post the names of the individuals taken, where they've been taken, at least allow a phone call from the person that they have taken.
This is such an incredible disregard for human.
Life in this state.
I don't even know what I have no idea why we're allowing this to happen Why Congress has not acted on trying to rein these guys in it seems logical that they're just this is just human nature Let's do the right thing for these people especially control if you pick them up
Bring them back to where you found them
get
Hi, guys.
I just had a call back.
I'm sorry.
I'd have to hold this in for the whole weekend.
I don't think I'd make it.
okay.
Okay, but first I want to remind people that tomorrow at 9 a.m.
Tune in for James Santel.
He does a really good job.
about the legal things going on.
You know, these people are like rabid animals.
uh... these ice people and the people that trump put in with their cool and inhuman treatment and they love it and we gotta vote these people out folks because i don't think it's worth it it i mean i'm watching it is like this isn't my country either human beings are rabid animals and thank god that
wonderful people in and my heart goes out to them.
They're my person.
Thank you guys for everything you're doing and hanging in there.
Folks, we got to get these people out of office.
Have a good day.
well, you know, I want to just update situation Well, there's no real new information, but if you're just joining us the Rock County Sheriff's Office put out an alert the
County, the Rock County law enforcement responded to shots fired calling the vicinity of UW Whitewater Rock County.
That's in Janesville.
They've not identified any active threat at this time, but they just wanted to make sure that everybody can stay clear of the area still.
Again, we don't know anything more than.
this report that shots were fired, and that would happen just before three o'clock this afternoon.
We've been monitoring different news sources, news stations in the area there, and that's all that's been released from the Rock County Sheriff's Department.
Well, if America think it's going to win the war with China by trying to slow them down a little bit.
I don't know, that's not gonna happen.
You know, innovation continues no matter what happens.
People are gonna try to improve things, make things better, and other countries are gonna have them, but we're not gonna have them here.
And the words that I think are very important to listen to here is the Ford CEO, Jim Farley.
He talked about going to China and what he saw there, and I think this is really an eye-opener.
Let's listen to this.
All right, there you go.
Somebody's writing this pro China propagandist, blah blah blah.
No, it's what's happening.
China's doing this around the world and that's the Ford CEO talking about China's vehicles.
And you know, this happened way back.
when Japan was making so many great cars.
And remember when automakers here were going there to be trained on how to make cars like they do in Japan?
It's not propaganda.
We're not playing propaganda here.
It's the truth.
It's what's happening.
And now I didn't even think about the fact that the phone companies or at least, you know, Apple and Google have decided not to get into
tying their systems into vehicles.
Why would
Canada is making deals, of course, you know, with
in some way,
Am
Yes, you are.
Go ahead.
Okay.
Thanks guys.
Great show.
you.
Well, I just want to say that I ran across YouTube.
These plans were driving this car EV car.
And it's called the Pink Pony, and they're driving it around and they're asking people, what do you think we paid for this car?
And they couldn't guess, and they said, well, it only cost $4,000.
And it's real small, but it only gives you 100 miles distance, and that's pretty reasonable.
Yeah for a hundred hundred miles.
Yeah, and also there was a guy in Thailand He was looking at a truck, but he could barely fit in it.
That was $14,000 But the main thing is we got a fight to get off these fossil fuels
and I just wanted to mention one thing too on that and I got some health care story story
that, uh, below the equator, all the countries are on fire and nobody's reporting it.
That's Australia, Argentina, Chile, and, uh, you know, they got tremendous, uh, heat waves down there.
So we got to think of the whole planet that there is, uh, global warming and we got to get off these fossil fuels.
And then another point I just want to make, if I have time,
I know a girl that she's on a podcast and she wanted some surgery.
She lived in Canada and she checked the price there and then she checked the price in the United States and then she decided to get the surgery in Belarus.
But I'm saying people should shop around.
I think Dr. Oz said we're the cheapest but I don't think that's true.
But the main thing is to do your research.
Some of these doctors are rated around the world.
And I have a friend that goes down to Mexico and they get their dental work.
And then years ago before Obamacare, people were taking buses up to Canada to get medication.
That's right.
I don't know if that's changed.
So I just want to let you know and thanks.
All right.
I'll listen to you.
Thanks
Seems kind of silly
Yeah.
But I think he had a good point about the system that we have here.
And I think the person in Canada that was doing the shopping, I think she probably got something that was more cosmetic.
Because in Canada, you don't pay for your health care.
Right.
But you probably do have to pay for anything that's more cosmetic.
I would imagine so, yeah.
Right.
And that's why a lot of people do the traveling, especially for dental work.
Yeah.
Yeah.
a lawsuit was actually added by Senate Majority Leader John Thune to the spending bill To make a quick buck for these other senators so they could sue and make about five hundred thousand dollars or you know a million dollars Whatever eight Republican senator phone records were subpoenaed right over fake elector schemes.
Okay now the House voted four hundred and twenty six to zero to remove that
part of the bill.
Okay.
And it's still being held up in the Senate because those senators want to grab that money.
And now here is here's representative Jamie Raskin.
This is cut 308 and he explains it away.
Let's listen.
There you go.
It's an explanation.
Exactly what happened.
Right.
Also, now JD Vance came out and has a little bit of that Biden derangement syndrome.
And, uh, this is his latest statement.
Bustle listen.
Yes.
Titanic.
Okay.
Well, okay.
Now I just want to kind of set the record straight when you hear this kind of talk, uh,
The response should be that the last two years of the Biden administration, everything was back to normal.
Okay.
Everything was back to normal.
And you can't take back prices that have gone up.
You can't do that during inflation and you can't do it after inflation.
When prices go up, they stay up.
Okay, that's it.
You wait for a sale.
That's what we all do.
So I have this CBS News report in regards to who is actually at fault for the Somali fraud scheme and how ridiculous this whole thing was to do
the troops in the first place.
We didn't need them there and had somebody just inform the president or whoever made these decisions to not go because it had been taken care of and everybody who is the instigator of this fraud case.
Let's listen.
Now, none of this needed to happen.
Uh, just to let you know.
Okay.
All right.
That's, that's my story.
I'm sticking to it.
And I think that was well explained.
Uh, of course we can't depend on the justice department to investigate this, right?
Unless it's, uh, ordered by Trump.
That's the only way they investigate anything or the FBI,
what
with Cash Patel at the Reigns.
And this is a very costly mistake.
It caused a person their life.
It's traumatizing.
So many citizens of Minneapolis and St.
Paul.
It really should end.
I think by now they know the real story about what happened.
Change it, get out of Minneapolis.
And then today, we just had
Yeah.
Well, I want to get to some of the text here.
People buy drugs from Canada.
I did until a year ago.
The last drug, they confiscated in Chicago, but eventually they sent it to me.
My neighbor still gets his drugs in Canada.
So Whiskey Paul says in the response of Vice President Vance, the CNN poll said six and 10 Americans called Trump presidency a failure.
And that's not good news for the GOP.
Thank you, Wisco.
And hi guys, love your show and thank you for the humor every day.
try to do that.
I know, we had so much
