This is the FCC chair telling Kimmel that it wouldn't be bad if he donated a little money, a little scratch.

Do you think that's an appropriate remedy of the situation?

I think Sinclair has every right
to call for that again.

Sinclair affiliates with Disney.
They take Disney contract.
They have a contractual relationship with Disney and that's between the two of them to figure out, you know, what's going to make sense to make both of them comfortable with the relationship going forward.

You know, we're not going to take this particular programming that's coming out of New York and Hollywood

And so the idea that local broadcasters feel like they can push back, I think it's a much, much healthier dynamic for the country right now.

Now ABC has a lavish broadcast license that is granted to them by the American taxpayer.
The American taxpayer pays money so that ABC News can be broadcast freely into millions of American
homes.
They have a responsibility.
To broadcast true information in the public interest.
It is a legally binding contract And so a Jimmy Kimmel misinforming his audience not only does he victim-blame Charlie Kirk and say that Charlie Kirk deserved to get a politically assassinated No, he never so lying to his audience thus creating wasn't safe environment for other conservatives other turning point activists exactly for you or me he's saying that we deserved it and more importantly that if you go and kill a Trump supporter that he will cover for you
that the left can go murder Trump supporters and Jimmy Kimmel will go and whitewash it for you so that you don't get any blame and his side doesn't get any blame.
That's what Kimmel did.

What he was doing here with this act was very performative.
He was performing internet culture, a specifically mass shooting culture in general, with the etchings on the shell casings being memes, with the joking about having a manifesto.
It's all very performative in that regard.
And he also says he worries that the duration
of discussion about Robinson might tell someone who is looking to make their name on this online shooter space, then maybe a target, a political target, is now better than a mass shooting situation because it gets more attention and people talk about it for a longer period of time and it seems to make major social commentary.
So that's his interpretation that is actually my older son's interpretation So they're really you know again is no specific agenda.
It is more a gaming culture
Well, you know and don't you think these I mean this kid is 22 years old.

and he's Mentally or emotionally troubled.

Now he's doing it with Tylenol in the prenatal period, which, by the way, is important for women dealing with pain, pregnancy-related pain.
This is not a small issue.
And so let's get to the data here for all your viewers.
Is there a link between Tylenol use in the prenatal period and the rise of autism that we're seeing across the country?
The answer is, but 20 years ago, there were some studies that were not well designed that
It did show a link between Tylenol use in the prenatal period and a very small risk of the development of, say, ADHD in children in mothers that use Tylenol.
or autism.
So there was a link, a small link that was detected.
What's happened over the last 20 years?
We've gotten smarter.
Science has changed.
We have better research.
And so Mika, the new research has done something very different.
What we know about autism is that what are true risk factors for autism are environmental risk factors like exposure to air pollution, genetic risk factors, maternal health, age of the parents at
pregnancy.
We know these are all very familial genetic risk factors drive these increases in autism.
That is for sure.
So what did this new research do?
This new research took that into account.
And there was a large study published just a few years ago, looked at 25 years worth of data in Sweden.
And what did it specifically do?
It looked at siblings.
And it looked at a sibling, say a brother that was exposed to Tylenol in the prenatal period.
And it compared it to, say, a sibling.
Same family, not exposed to Tylenol was a so-called sibling controlled analysis.
Hundreds of thousands of data points, ultimately 2.5 million children were studied over 25 years.
What did that show, Mika?
No link between autism and prenatal exposure to Tylenol.
So the best quality data shows no link.
He's looking at poor data and he's making a mountain out of a mole.
Yeah.
So no need to catch that.
