Terry Bell joins John and Matt to start hour two with the Big Story: campaign-palooza from the presidential candidates. We hear a couple cuts from Lizzo, campaigning with Harris at her rally in Detroit last week, on importance of voting. We check in with Brittney Merlot to hear about her weekend, and a forward look at the weather, then get into some complaints about the format and outcome of Friday's Senate debate. Later, Paul Soglin, former mayor of Madison joins the show to give his take on the current standing of the presidential race, teaching about the good and bad history of the US, and seeing both progress and regression over the decades, of the right to vote. Closing out the show, we chat with a caller about Eric Hovde's ignorance on the farm bill and more from the debate with his hot (wrong) takes on the ACA.
