In the first half of the hour we talk to Peter Burress, Government Affairs Manager of the Wisconsin Conservation Voters, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to promoting environmental conservation policies. We discuss where the state is with funding for policy towards PFAs. There was $125 million dedicated to PFAs in our current budget, but what will that be used for? Enter Senate Bill 312 which is currently being negotiated in the Wisconsin State Senate and could make it to the floor this September. Learn more about how you can take action by asking your legislators to strengthen the current PFAS legislation without undermining long-term remediation efforts: https://conservationvoters.org/action-alerts/urge-your-legislators-to-strengthen-pfas-community-grants-legislation
Then we welcome back John Russell (@heyjohnrussell) to talk about his time spent at a recent Trump rally in Pennsylvania - check out that video here: https://twitter.com/MorePerfectUS/status/1689309421275422720?s=20
