It's National Cow Appreciation Day but it was a bit of a coincidence that all of our guests were talking about dairy farmers today. In the first half hour, we welcome New York Times Best Selling Author, Michael Perry, and veteran Wisconsin journalist, Julian Emerson, for a discussion about Perry's newest book, 40 Acres Deep, which addresses farmer's mental health.

Then we are joined by Brian Reisinger to talk about his latest columns for Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that take both a personal look at his family farm in Sauk County but also the plight of so many family farms across Wisconsin. But we end on a high note of what can be done to help family farms thrive.
