Stephanie Rapkin, the Shorewood lawyer convicted of a misdemeanor after spitting on a Black teenager during a racial justice protest in 2020, outright rejected the judge’s sentence of a year of probation and 100 hours of community service, choosing instead to spend 60 days in the House of Correction as punishment.
