Jean “Jeannie” Marie Campbell, age 64, of Park Falls, passed away peacefully at home
on November 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Jean was born on June 8, 1961, in Park Falls, the daughter of James Sr. and Judy
(Abel) Golomb. She graduated from Lincoln High School and went on to build a career
as a civil engineering technician with the U.S. Forest Service, later working as a
landscape designer with Stoney Creek Gardens. On May 24, 1980, she married the
love of her life, David Campbell, and together they built their life in this community for
more than forty years.
Jean was a woman full of life and enthusiasm. She loved being outdoors—especially in
her flower gardens—and found joy in crafting, macramé, and caring for her much-loved
dogs. She was known for her kindness, her creativity, and her unwavering
encouragement of others. Her family describes her as charismatic, loving, and endlessly
caring—a true light to those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, David; her daughter, Krista (Ike) Morgan; her siblings,
Dianna (Jeff) Treml and James Golomb Jr.; and her mother-in-law, Lois Campbell. She
is also survived by her cherished fur-babies and fur-grandbabies, along with nieces,
nephews, in-laws, and many friends who will deeply miss her.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Aaron Campbell, and her father-
in-law, Frank Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Catkins Animal Rescue, an
organization close to her heart.
Birch Street Funeral Service is assisting the family.
