Anna “Banana” Margarite Mollman, age 82, of Park Falls, died on Sunday February 23, 2025, at her home. She was born on May 24, 1942, in Dodgeville, WI, the daughter of Martin and Barbara (Cerney) Hach. Her early life and schooling were in Dodgeville, and she was a graduate of Cobb High School. She married John “Sandy” Mollman. The couple moved to Park Falls in 1973 and owned and operated the Aquarium Bar in Park Falls. Anna later worked in housekeeping at Park Manor Nursing Home and after her retirement enjoyed lunches with her coworkers from the nursing home. She enjoyed fishing, the women’s pool league and tournaments, walking, gardening & flowers, hummingbirds and nature. Anna also enjoyed sewing and crafting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and their events. Anyone who knew Anna, knows she was a fighter, for she was a survivor of breast cancer and battled with Alzheimer’s for over six years.
She is survived by her four children: Mike (Sheryl) Mollman of Madison, John (Stacie) Mollman of Park Falls, Michelle Peterson of Park Falls, and Tom Mollman of Park Falls, (11)grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, (5)brothers, (4)sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John “Sandy”, (1)brother and (5)sisters.
A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery in Butternut on Friday May 23, 2025 at 1:00pm. Deacon Robert Schienebeck will officiate.
