The Friendship Quilters Guild of Richland Center continues to comfort patients at the Kraemer Infusion Center at The Richland Hospital and Clinics.

Through its Labor of Love project, guild members create and donate handmade quilts that provide warmth and encouragement.

In addition, the guild makes quilts for Vernon County’s Sleep in Heavenly Peace project, and for dialysis recipients in Richland Center. The guild is rooted, in community and creativity.

It began in 1986 with just seven members. After placing an ad in the paper to invite new members, the group began meeting monthly.
