RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Thrasher Opera House is thrilled to announce that world-renowned ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro will return to Green Lake, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. Known for redefining the boundaries of the four-string instrument, Shimabukuro brings a high-energy performance blends jazz, rock, classical, blues, and traditional Hawaiian music.

Hailed as a groundbreaking artist, Shimabukuro first captured international attention with his viral rendition of George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” Since then, he has performed at prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House and the Hollywood Bowl, collaborating with legends including Bette Midler, Yo-Yo Ma, and Jimmy Buffett.
