RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding an inmate that walked away from their jail Friday morning.

Twenty-seven-year-old Luis Perez-Cerna had Huber privileges and left at 7:30 for an approved court appointment in Dane County. According to the Dane County Clerk of Courts, he never showed up for his court appearance.

His last known confirmed sighting was in the parking lot of the Dodge County Jail in Juneau. He was walking east across the parking lot. At the time he was wearing a grey Adidas t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information about where he may be, or has recently been, is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number 920-386-3726. He had previous ties to various areas in the county, as well as Cambria and West Bend.
