OSHKOSH, WI—(WISS)—Three primaries throughout the Oshkosh area on Tuesday reduced the field of candidates for Oshkosh Common Council, Oshkosh Area School Board, and for one district on the Winnebago County Board of Supervisors. Unofficial election results for the Spring Primary were published by the Winnebago County Clerk on Tuesday night.

Winnebago County District 14 Supervisor

Incumbent Tom Swan loses his bid for reelection. 

Voters selected one candidate to advance to the runoff. Advancing to the Spring Ballot run-off election are former Winnebago County Executive Jon Doemel and Richard Norenberg.

Election results for OASD Board of Education

In the race for the Oshkosh Area School District Board of Education, voters chose two candidates.

The field of five becomes four as Incumbent Barbara Herzog and challengers Mallory Schneider Birschbach, Jacob Wolf, and Paul Molitor advance to the run-off election.

Oshkosh Common Council

Eight candidates entered the primary election for Oshkosh Common Council and six will advance to the runoff election. The candidates who will continue to the April Ballot are Incumbent Jacob Amos, former Mayor and Common Council Member  Paul Esslinger, Alec Lefeber, former Common Council Member Meredith Scheuermann, Logan Jungbacker, and Tim Neubauer.

The Spring Ballot on April 7, 2026, will decide these elections, plus 15 other contested races on the Winnebago County Board of Supervisors. Voters also will elect a new mayor for Neenah in April.
