
Major Fire in Fox Lake
RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Fire destroyed three homes and damaged a fourth in Dodge County’s Town of Fox Lake early Sunday morning.
According to Fox Lake Fire Department Chief Steven Hopp, they were dispatched, along with the Randolph Fire Department and Fox Lake EMS to N10570 Howard Drive for a structure fire at 2:41 am. As they were leaving the city flames could be seen from the fire.
When firefighters arrived, the initial house was fully engulfed, and fire extended to homes north and south of it. Overall, 13 fire departments and a number of other agencies responded to the scene. Firefighters were there for about 10 hours.

Three of the homes were a total loss. One firefighter and one resident were taken to a hospital with minor injuries and were later released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
