WAUTOMA, Wis (WAUH)- The 32-year-old Oshkosh man who turned himself in after shooting another man, is now facing a first-degree intentional homicide charge.

Oshkosh Police say the victim of this past Monday’s shooting in the 700 block of West 9th Avenue has died.  The suspect and victim knew each other.

Officers immediately responded to the residence after the suspect turned himself in at the police department and told them where to find a man with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Charges have been referred to the Winnebago County District Attorney’s Office.
