OSHKOSH, WI- (WISS) – Voters who have questions about the $197.8 million dollar capital referendum on the April 1, 2025 ballot can attend several information and question-and-answer sessions from the Oshkosh Area School District (OASD) in February and March.
According to OASD, the referendum is designed to improve student safety and learning spaces and comes with a $0 tax increase to the debt levy.
The sessions will allow residents to ask questions and gain a thorough understanding of the referendum projects and their potential impact. The district’s goal is to provide community members with the facts necessary to make an informed decision on April 1 about the future of the district’s schools.
“We believe it’s crucial for every community member to have access to accurate and timely information about the future of our schools,” said Dr. Bryan Davis, superintendent of the Oshkosh Area School District. “These sessions provide a valuable opportunity for residents to hear directly from district leaders and get answers to their questions about the referendum.”
Information sessions will include a presentation followed by a Q&A.
Q&A sessions will be informal opportunities for residents to drop in to get questions answered and engage with OASD Superintendent Dr. Bryan Davis and other district leaders.
Additionally, district leaders are regularly presenting to community organizations and groups. If you would like to schedule a presentation with your group, please email
To help keep the community informed, the district has also launched a dedicated referendum webpage at oshkosh.k12.wi.us/referendum-2025. The public can also call the district at 920.424.0395 or email referendum@oshkosh.k12.wi.us to get their questions answered.
The district has been committed to engaging with the community throughout its facilities
planning process, ensuring that plans are built with both the needs of students and fiscal responsibility in mind. As part of this effort, residents are encouraged to attend one of the upcoming sessions, visit the website, and reach out with any questions.
