WAUTOMA, Wis. (WAUH) – A 24-year-old Oshkosh man is suspected in a shooting that occurred at a business in the 1800 block of Jackson Street shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.

It was reported the shooting involved two employees of a business, and that the suspect fled on foot. According to Oshkosh Police, the two employees got into a verbal argument about work duties and the suspect had a gun.

The argument turned physical, and during that altercation, the victim was shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.

Officers canvassed the area and located the suspect within 14 minutes of being dispatched to the call. He had a loaded handgun in his possession. He was taken into custody for second-degree reckless injury, carrying a concealed weapon, and disorderly conduct.
