WAUTOMA, Wis (WAUH)- Two days after an Amber Alert was issued for her a 6-year-old Portage County girl and the uncle suspected of taking her were found. Saturday Ruby Lehman was found safe and her uncle Jordan Coyle, a suspect, was taken into custody.

Portage County Sheriff’s officials were conducting a search for Coyle’s truck Saturday morning in the southern part of the county. The Plover Police Department’s assistant police chief found the vehicle around 2 pm in the Almond School Forest. That led to a ground search by tactical teams from Stevens Point/Plover and the Sheriff’s Office.

Both Coyle and Ruby Lehman were located in the woods and were taken to a hospital. Ruby had no visible physical injuries. Coyle was taken into custody after getting medical clearance.

Portage County Sheriff Mike Lukas said Ruby looked scared but had a game in her hand. Coyle complied with commands. According to the state’s Department of Corrections Jordan Coyle is a registered sex offender.
