Touch A Truck in Ripon Saturday
RIPON, Wis (WRPN)-Officials in Ripon will host their Second Annual Touch A Truck event tomorrow morning at Barlow Park from 9 to 11:30.
Ripon Police Officer Lindsey Michels says it evolved from Ripon’s National Night Out celebration but is still a community building event separate from that celebration. Michels says kids and adults will have the opportunity to get up close to city and county vehicles.

Flight for Life is also scheduled to make a landing. The Library will have a meet and read event, there will cookies and water, strolling entertainers, and more. Kids can collect stamps in a special passport for each vehicle they visit and if they figure out what the letters spell they will be entered into a drawing for some nice prizes.

The event is free. Over 20 different organizations, businesses, and city departments will be participating in Touch A Truck.
