Fatal Traffic Collision in Oshkosh

WAUTOMA, Wis (WAUH) – A collision between a motorcycle and light truck in Oshkosh led to the death of the motorcyclist and injuries for two others Sunday evening.

Police tell us it happened at the intersection of High Avenue and Wisconsin Street. The motorcycle was heading east on High Avenue and the truck south on Wisconsin Street.

The motorcycle operator, a 27-year-old Appleton man, died at the scene. Two others were taken to a local hospital. The intersection was closed for approximately four hours.
