RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- A 42-year-old Oconomowoc man was seriously injured late Friday night when his motorcycle ran into a telephone pole in Dodge County.

According to the Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched just before midnight to the crash on County Road CW west of County Road EM in the town of Emmet.

Investigators determined a Harley Davidson was heading west when it left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The driver was ejected from the bike. He was found by a passerby.

The crash victim was taken to Watertown Regional Medical Center and ultimately was flown to Aurora Medical Summit due to serious, life-threatening injuries.
