RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Both drivers involved in a head-on collision in Dodge County Sunday afternoon were taken to area hospitals. Sheriff’s officials say the crash happened on County Highway A I, just south of County Highway S in the town of Oak Grove.

Investigators learned a Chevy Silverado driven by a 66-year-old Bryon, Illinois man was heading south. A Ford Focus was traveling north. It was driven by a 21-year-old Beaver Dam resident. The Ford Focus failed to negotiate a curve, entered the northbound lane, and collided head-on with the southbound Silverado.

The Illinois man suffered minor injuries and was taken to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam. The Beaver Dam resident was flown to Aurora Summit Hospital in Oconomowoc with life-threatening-injuries. The two drivers were the only occupants of the two vehicles.
