Flags at Half Staff for Van Dyne Firefighter

RIPON, Wis. (WRPN)- Governor Tony Evers has ordered United States and State of Wisconsin flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of a Van Dyne firefighter who died due to complications from an injury sustained in the line of duty.

Flags will be flown from sunrise to sunset today in honor of Safety Officer, Firefighter, and Emergency Medical Responder Amie Sue Lee. She served the Van Dyne Fire Department for 14 years.

Services will be held today in Oshkosh. She passed away on July 14th. She was 61 years old. Her father was a firefighter and first responder for the City of Oshkosh.
