MILWAUKEE, Wis (Civic Media) — The Milwaukee Brewers will wear a commemorative patch to honor the late broadcaster Bob Uecker, who passed away last month at 90.

The patch, featuring Uecker’s signature over a gold-and-navy plaid design, will adorn the sleeves of the team’s uniforms throughout the 2025 season. The plaid pattern is said to pay tribute to Uecker’s iconic sportscoats.

The patch will debut on Feb. 22 during the Brewers’ preseason opener against the Cincinnati Reds in Phoenix.

The team plans to hold a public celebration of life for Uecker later this year, with details to be announced.
