Spring Primary Election – February 18, 2025

The Spring Primary Election has races in Wood County. Voters will narrow the field for several local elections in Port Edwards and Rome.

Nekoosa, Wis. (WFHR, WIRI) – The Spring Primary Election is February 18, 2025. Voters in Wood County will decide who will be on the ballot in local races for the Spring Election on April 1, 2025.

Voter’s Forum in Rome

There’s a voter’s forum on February 4th at the Rome Town Hall at 6:00PM. Multiple candidates are running for the positions of Rome Town Board Chairperson and Rome Town Board Supervisor. These include:

You can come in person to the Rome Town Hall at 6pm on Tuesday, February 4th to hear from the candidates. You can also view the broadcast live over Channel 300 or on the town’s website here. If you have a question for the candidates, you can submit it prior to the Voter’s Forum in the box at the Rome Town Hall and at the Lester Public Library of Rome. The deadline to submit a question is noon on Friday, January 31st.

Port Edwards Spring Primary

The Village of Port Edwards will also have a Spring Primary Election for Village President. Those running include:
