Vandals damage South Park facilities

OSHKOSH, WI – (WISS) – The Oshkosh Police Department is looking for the vandals who damaged property at South Park. Officers were told that several juveniles were involved in covering restroom walls, floors, and fixtures with graffiti.

The suspects were recorded on video surveillance. Officers are working to identify the individuals.

Police provided several photographs of the damage.

“We strongly urge parents to remind children to be respectful of property and that repairs to fix damaged items can be very costly,” police said in a press release. “Please help us by reporting any suspicious activity you notice around the park. If you see something, say something. By working together, we can help prevent damage to our parks.” 

Police say it will cost several thousand dollars to restore the public restrooms to their original condition.
