MILWAUKEE, Wis (Civic Media) — Revelers have several safe options to get home after New Year’s Eve celebrations, thanks to partnerships between transportation providers, local organizations, and corporate interests.

Molson Coors and the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) are again offering free rides on all routes from 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 until end of service.

Nine busy routes, including CONNECT 1 BRT and GREENLINE, will extend service until 4 a.m. on Jan. 1.

Outside Milwaukee, the Tavern League of Wisconsin’s SafeRide program aims to prevent drunk driving. Patrons at partcipating bars statewide can ask bartenders for a safe ride home.

For those in need of vehicle assistance, AAA’s Tow to Go service provides free tows within a 10-mile radius in select areas. The service is available to both members and non-members.
