Friday, November 15

The community is invited to enjoy at hot turkey sandwich meal at Park St Christian Church Friday November 15, from 4:00 until gone. The cost is $12 and will go toward the stain glass restoration.

Saturday, November 16

The November Kickapoo Food Pantry will be open as usual on the third Saturday, November 16, from 9:00 to 11:00 and the following Monday, November 18, from 4:00 to 6:00. Holiday food boxes will be given out. Please note however, that due to the holidays, December dates for the Pantry have been changed to Saturday, December 14, and Monday, December 16. The Little Lamb’s Closet, held at Park Street Christian Church, sponsored by the Richland County Right to Life, is open the third Saturday of the month starting at 9:30. Please use the Park Street entrance.

Free milk and cheese is available the third Saturday of each month from 9:30 until gone at Park Street Christian Church. Use the Seminary Street entrance.

The Richland Center American Legion will be taking down flags at the flag park Saturday, November 16, at 10:00, weather permitting. Those willing to volunteer to help take down flags should arrive at the flag park at 10:00.

Sunday, November 17

Kat  Griffith, who lived and worked in Latin America for a number of years, will present “Asylum: The Changing Face of Migration” in the Community Room of the Village of Gays Mills Community Commerce Center. She is currently a Fond du Lac County Board Supervisor and is committed to bipartisanship and respectful dialogue across political differences. The event will be held Sunday, November 17, at 4:30. The program will close with a discussion of how to have a better national conversation about immigration. The event is hosted by the Kickapoo Valley Friends Meeting (Quakers) and the Gays Mills Public Library.
