Riverkings keep pace in the Division with three-game weekend.

Riverkings keep pace with next home games on December 6 and 7. The Badgers and Packers have big games on the horizon.

Riverkings win two of three-game weekend.
With a chance to stay near the top spot in the USPHL North Division Standings, the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings did what they needed to as they won two of three games over Thursday-Saturday, November 7-9.

Rapids got things started when they played at the Dells on Thursday night and came away with a 4-1 victory to improve to 2-0 on the year over the Ducks.

On Friday, the Riverkings began a two-game home stand against the Northwest Express in what was a battle between the No. 2 and No. 3 teams in the standings coming into the series.

Rapids and the Express split the weekend series score with Rapids dropping a 5-0 game on Friday, but came away with a win of 5-2 in the finale.

Rapids will not be home again until December 6 and 7, as they will be playing at the league-leading Minnesota Squatch on Nov. 15-16 and in the Detroit Showcase during Nov. 23-25.

Badgers, Packers idle, big games on the horizon.

With neither the University of Wisconsin- Madison or Green Bay Packers Football teams in action this past weekend due to their respective byes, they need to refocus for this coming weekend with huge contests.

The Badgers will host top-ranked, undefeated, Oregon on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. while the Packers will travel to Chicago to add another chapter in the NFL’s oldest rivalry with the Bears on Sunday, Nov. 17 at Noon with the game.

Wisconsin, Marquette, Bucks continue early-season slate.

The action on the hardwood for the major college and pro Basketball teams is heating up as they head into mid November.

The Badgers are undefeated at 3-0 with wins over Holy Cross, Montana State, and Appalachian State, while the Golden Eagles are 3-0 with wins over Stony Brook, George Mason, and Central Michigan.

The Bucks have struggled as they currently sit at 4-8 on the season as they begin the regular season tournament for the NBA Cup.
