MILWAUKEE, Wis (Civic Media) — U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin will attend a Wisconsin AFL-CIO and United Steelworkers rally on Thursday as part of her “People Power” tour across the state.

The event, scheduled for 3:45 p.m in Milwaukee. The Democratic incumbent aims to highlight grassroots support and discuss key election issues.

The “People Power” tour will cover 13 counties including Dane, Brown, Marathon, and Milwaukee.

The senator faces Republican challenger Eric Hovde in the November 5th election. Baldwin and Hovde met for their only debate on October 18th in Madison.

“Eric Hovde should stay out of my personal life. And I think I speak for most Wisconsin women when I say that he should stay out of all of our personal lives.” @SenatorBaldwin pic.twitter.com/tjkONvMxgW

Baldwin, seeking her third term, became Wisconsin’s first female senator and the first openly LGBTQ+ U.S. Senator when elected in 2012.
