RACINE, Wis. (WRJN) — Campaigning continues in southeastern Wisconsin. Both major parties are sending high-profile speakers to the region in the next week as early voting is underway in the state.
Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sen. JD. Vance is scheduled to speak in Racine on Monday at 5:30 p.m. He’ll be at the same place Tim Walz delivered a speech Tuesday night, Memorial Hall. The Trump-Vance campaign statement says they are focusing the event on economic issues.
Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will visit Kenosha on Thursday to encourage early voting for Vice President Harris and Wisconsin Democrats. Emhoff will be joined by Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Tony West, Harris’ brother-in-law, at a Get Out the Early Vote block party. The location and time of that event isn’t known.
