“There’s so much money behind the political ads,” Moore says. “Trump supporters, the fossil fuel industry, and billionaires like Elon Musk are significant funders. They are throwing everything at us, hoping to distract and divide people with their fear-mongering tactics.”

She also warns of misinformation campaigns which includes the exaggerated claims about Black voter turnout designed to suppress enthusiasm. But Moore remains optimistic, urging voters to reflect on the gains made in recent years despite challenges like inflation.

Moore also criticizes former President Donald Trump’s business-first approach. She suggests his policies will lead to an economic recession and a rollback of critical services.

“All of us have the same power as Elon Musk when it comes to casting a vote,” she explains. “So, let’s use it.”

And despite the onslaught of negative campaigning, Moore believes Vice President Kamala Harris has what it takes to lead. She tells Salvia about her vision for a future of bipartisan cooperation and legislative progress under her leadership.

“We just need to stay focused and vote,” she says. “Let’s stay strong through election day.”
