Riverdale School District Referendum Study
Many area voters will have new referendums on the ballot for the school district their community is part of. One area school district that does not have a new referendum for the April election, but is working on one, is the Riverdale School District. There are certain operational costs that District Administrator, Jon Schmidt, says have gone up. A new referendum might not be ready for the upcoming election but it might appear on the ballot in the near future. Before establishing the referendum communities of the Riverdale School District will be informed about the needs that will eventually be voted on. There will be no Capital Referendum, but needs for the Riverdale School District to place on the Operational Referendum will be discussed at future school board meetings. The district will keep the public informed once needs are established.
