MADISON, Wis. (WLAK) – Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers is seeking applicants for a judicial opening on the Barron County Circuit Court.
The term for the appointed judge would run from Sept. 15, 2023 through July 31, 2024.
The opening on the circuit court is because current Barron County Circuit Court Judge J.M. Bitney is retiring.
Anyone interested in applying to any of the three positions can send their application form and supporting materials to GOVJudicialAppointments@wisconsin.gov before 5 p.m. on June 23, 2023. An application can be found on Gov. Evers’ website. People with questions about the process can call the Governor’s Office of Legal Counsel at 608-266-1212.
