HALO Racine
While we turn up the thermostats and get the fireplace going, there are homeless members in our community that will have to bear the coldest months of the year. The Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization (HALO) is so much more than a bed; they offer clear paths to self-sufficiency through individualized support for the thousands of adults who experience homelessness in Racine County. Your donation will fuel their mission to not only give individuals a safe shelter for the night but to teach them financial planning, life skills training, tutoring and more to ensure they can see an end to homelessness.
WI Humane Society
Wisconsin winters can be brutal, and for stray or unwanted animal, warm shelter will mean life or death. The Wisconsin Humane Society helps take in stray animals and wildlife to shelter, feed and provide medical care for them. They then rehome these pets to be your next forever friend. Help them to keep their shelter full of food and toys or send them a monetary donation to cover necessary medical expenses.
