Their faith-based mission brings on transformation through essential resources, personalized care and counseling, and can only be done with the help of community donations.
The Lord's Cupboard
Hosted by the First Congregational Church in Park Falls, the Lord's Cupboard serves Price and Ashland Counties to provide pounds of non-perishable food items and fresh food items to those facing food insecurity. They also host a backpack program for the children of Chequamagon and Butternut schools to provide help to families during school year weekends.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
The mission of Sleep in Heavenly Peace is simple: no kid sleeps on the floor in our town. Through generous community donations, this organization builds and delivers beds to children in need of a safe place to sleep. They accept monetary donations as well as new bedding items.
Catkins Animal Rescue
Catkins Animal Rescue is the only no-kill nonprofit animal rescue in Price County. As the former host for many of our now forever friends, we're always happy to support the work of Catkins who takes in strays and neglected animals, provides them with essential medical support and gives them the love and care to get them ready for their new homes. The shelter is currently raising funds for a new and expanded facility to meet the growing need of animals in our community. Help them to reach their goal by donating!
