Sojourner House
As an arm of the La Crosse Catholic Charities, the Sojourner House provides a safe, clean place for adult men and women who are experiencing homelessness. They provide shelter, beds, showers, meals and more to community members who are in need. They are a year-round facility in Eau Claire that relies on donations and volunteers. As the bitter cold creeps in, they are expecting an overflow during the winter months and are seeking monetary donations, volunteers and winter items like boots, coats and hand warmers.
Community Table of Eau Claire
Food insecurity affects more than 11% of residents in Eau Claire Country. Providing this basic necessity in our community, the Community Table is Eau Claire's only meal service center for 80-100 guests every day of the year since 1993. In addition, they provide hygiene items, books and cold weather supplies for free. Donations give them the power to feed hungry stomachs and their volunteers provide the kindness and hospitality that give our community heart.
Humane Society of Eau Claire
Your tail-wagging friend waits for you with a smile, no matter what kind of day you've had. Many of us know that pet adoption can be life-changing. The Eau Claire Community Humane Association takes in animals, arriving scared and alone, and gives them warmth, food, safety and the chance to find their forever home. Alongside pet adoption, they also take in lost and found pets, hosting them until they can reunite with their owner. They recieve no funding from local, state or national organizations and rely purely on donations from our community.
