Waushara County Food Pantry
In partnership with the community, the Waushara Country Food Pantry exists to alleviate food insecurity by providing reliable access to nutritious food in a welcoming environment. They serve over 1,100 individuals and 450 households monthly to empower our community through this basic necessity. Their core belief is that access to nourishing food is a human right that should be provided with dignity and respect. We agree! They accept monetary donations, food donations and take on volunteers to push their mission forward.
Treehouse Central WI
Not everyone's teen years are filled with fleeting angst and hormone-fueled crushes. Some teens lack safe spaces and end up in a cycle of hopelessness. The Treehouse of Central Wisconsin has been changing that narrative. Since 1979, this organization has helped local teens to build hope through safe spaces, healthy relationships and plans for a bright future. Treehouse also provides mentoring to connect adult leaders who can be a consistent presence for struggling teens. They provide transportation and meals alongside their programs and host funraisers and sell merch to cover costs. You can volunteer or give a monetary donation today.
