After Savanna's departure, John dives into a story out of Ohio, where the legislature just passed a bill mandating schools "teach from both sides" on issues such as the holocaust and the civil war. Elsewhere in the firehose of news, we hear from Brittney Merlot that the NWS has suspended their morning weather balloon launches :( . She also enlightens us to the weather in the works this weekend - snow on Sunday! Later, because it's Friday, we're joined by Rökker! Rökker stunned by surprise concert announcement on Max Ink Radio
Rökker and wife Alice are in the studio with Jimmy K and Teri Barr for the first time since Rökker's heart attack and Jimmy and Teri have a surprise a concert announcement for Rökker's Jamboree at the Bur Oak in Madison on May 4 featuring Last Crack, Subatomic, Mind Ox, Electromag, and Magic 7.
Rökker is nearly speechless and Alice in tears as the announcement is made.
