Jimmie Kaska
Our guests are Wausau East senior Caden Werth and Civic Media’s Jimmie Kaska. Plus we review what we saw this season in area HS football.
So Much Sports! (Hour 2)
We’re not normally a sports talk show—but it’s Friday, the political news isn’t terribly optimistic, and there’s so much to talk about in sports. The Badger men’s hockey team just upset the No. 1 ranked team in the country. The Bucks season opens with a new powerhouse combo. It’s Packers-Vikings weekend. The Badger football team is on national TV Saturday night. The Badger women’s hockey and volleyball teams are among the best in the nation. The World Series starts tonight. And Jimmie Kaska tells us about this weekend’s second round of the state high school football playoffs.
I do some more pushing back on Chris Conley calling WI public schools “failure factories” plus as joined by Civic Media’s Jimmie Kaska to discuss the HS football playoffs.
And Then There Were Five (Hour 2)
This week a fifth candidate entered the race for Congress, seeking the Democratic nomination in the 3rd District to challenge Republican Derrick Van Orden next year. We’ll ask Eric Wilson of Eau Claire why he’s running. We’ll cover this week’s media coverage of national and international news with Mark Jacob. And Jimmie Kaska gets us set for the first round of the WIAA high school football playoffs.
