Burkel's One Block Over is hosting an event this Saturday with the organization "As You Were". The group connects with veterans and writes songs about their experiences. We were joined by James Fitzgerald, James Goodletson, who is a veteran, and singer/songwriter Jason Sever. Jason shares two great songs that he's written and recorded. If you listen to these songs and don't feel moved, we're not sure you even have a pulse. Check out Burkel's Facebook page for more details on the show coming up on Saturday. Then our friend Heather Heil is with us, as a guest and also as a co-host. (Jim had to leave for a meeting, so she covers both positions for us). She fills us in on some of the events coming up at the Children's Museum of Green Bay and some expansion projects that are going on, as well.

The Mayor and Heather (Hour 1)
Heather Heil from the Green Bay Children's Museum sits in for Maino this morning. It's a big day, because today is Bratwurst Day, Roller Coaster Day, Rum Day, Kool-Air Day, Joke Day...and Elvis died on this day in 1977. It's so odd how they all come together. Todd gets excited to talk about game shows, then the conversation turns to The Wizard of Oz, Wicked, Jim's weekend plans filled with weddings and funerals. We're all over the place...like normal.
