Brad also shares a bit about his current health situation: he was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, but he's working through it. We wish him the best, and we love his music. We had Ty scheduled for last week's show, but he had to have rotator cuff surgery. So, LAST WEEK, Don Majkowski filled in for him. (Don had rotator cuff surgery THIS week). Originally from Minnesota, she moved to Northeast Wisconsin about six years ago and hung around because of the unique music scene here. It's Friday! That means FOOTBALL and LIVE MUSIC! We start with our "Football Friday" segment courtesy of Burkel's One Block Over. Our guest this week is former Green Bay Packer Tony Mandarich. Tony is nice enough to wake up early in Arizona to join us this morning. He talks about the fact that his brother, John, was a big inspiration to him when he was growing up. The conversation turns to picking rocks (apparently Maino never did that when he was younger), but Tony also talks a bit about the difference between the game back when he played and what it's like now. Players health, team practices, and injuries come up in the conversation. Then it's the Maino & The Mayor LIVE Music Series with Heights Pub & Parlor in Green Bay. Today it's music and fun with Dan Rafferty from Dueling Pianos. Humor and music come together with Dan. We LOVED it!
