What started as a 6-month-a-year warming shelter has expanded to a 365-day-a-year shelter, providing shelter, food, services, and more. The shelter provides temporary shelter, individualized services, and opportunities for self-sufficiency to empower the most vulnerable adults in the community. Molly also mentions the need for funding and volunteers. Then we're Movin' With The Malcores! Maria Zehren and Mary Jane Herber join Jim and Nikki from the Green Bay/DePere Antiquarian Society. The society is holding an antique show and sale at The Rock Garden in Green Bay this Friday and Saturday. For 67 years, the Antiquarians have funded grants to restore and acquire local historical artifacts and donated sizable contributions to museum projects throughout Brown County through this event. Then we're "Moving With The Malcores." Ben & Deanna Malcore are in from Bay Area Realty Besides having a few new properties coming on the market soon, they also let us know that the average age of first home buyers is 38! They're also giving back to the community this holiday season.

Veteran Services & The Malcores (Hour 2)
The hour starts off with a visit from Nicole Stockman from UWGB Veterans' Services. About 500 veterans and dependents of veterans receive education benefits at UW-Green Bay each year. Of this number, 300 are military veterans or current service members. Some of these students are on active duty one week, and in the classroom the next. Contact Nicole with any questions you may have.
Then it's Ben and Deanna Malcore are in the house from Bay Area Realty. They talk more about the moves with interest rates, and the lack of available homes on the market. They also talk about refocusing on community involvement at Bay Area Realty. Community involvement is something Ben and Deanna feel very strongly about. We're lucky to have them in our community.

A very good friend of the show, John Craemer swings in to talk a bit about what he's been up to. John is a military veteran who's been through a lot because of his military history. Now, he's working with the Green Bay Press Times, teaches at NWTC and has started a new career based on his love for photography. (John has helped out the show by taking photos of Jim and John for promotional use). He is open and honest and shares the story of having a panic attack just this past weekend. What set it off, he's not sure, but it's certainly tied into his military past. A great, inspirational story. Then The Malcores are In The HOUSE! He had renters who completely trashed his property and it was so bad that the story actually made national news!
